On Aug 22, the IPC declared “famine” in Gaza City.

Let’s be clear: yes, there are hungry people in Gaza. That is tragic, and no one should minimize their suffering.

But the question is: who is responsible — and who is being blamed?
The IPC report assigns blame to Israel. That’s upside down.

Israel is the only actor in history to feed civilians of an enemy territory — in the middle of a war — while Hamas starves our hostages.

Meanwhile, the UN agencies whose job it is to collect and distribute food trucks often leave them sitting at the crossings.

And Hamas? They steal, hoard, and resell the aid — while building tunnels under hospitals and schools instead of feeding their people.Image
The data matters too.

July’s complete child malnutrition survey (15,749 kids) showed rates below famine threshold.

IPC ignored it, relying instead on a smaller, outdated sample that made the numbers look worse.

They even claimed “hidden” hunger deaths — while their own cited figure (≈6/day) is 30x lower than the famine threshold.

This isn’t science. It’s a BS loaded headline.

A recently published new paper maps the Jewish experience since October 7 to nine types of traumatic invalidation. Which is nine ways the Jewish people have been kicked and punched while down.

In the wake of the double homicide in DC, action needs to be taken and we need to define these acts in order to treat them. Jewish trauma is real and any effort on or off social media to downplay or try to reverse the role of the victim is all part of a sick psychological playbook, and it's time to expose it.

I'm using my platform to give it a boost because it's extremely important for people to recognize these ploys when they see them.

Abstract: The October 7 Hamas attacks caused trauma for the Jewish community, which was exacerbated by societal denial and invalidation, leading to the need for culturally sensitive trauma interventions.

Jewish trauma post-October 7 was intensified by emotional neglect and denial from peers and institutions, a phenomenon termed "traumatic invalidation."

Traumatic invalidation occurs when significant personal experiences are chronically denied, often by important societal or relational figures, leading to psychological distress.
Emotional Neglect

When others are indifferent to your suffering.

After Oct 7, Jewish students mourning family were met with silence—no “are you okay?”, just a classmate wearing a “Free Palestine” shirt the next day.
