Plumas sheriff has just posted on its Facebook page that there is confirmed structure loss in Feather River Canyon. They are working to get numbers and locations.
— The #DixieFire is 61,376 acres and 15% contained, with 3,345 personnel engaged
— Transitioned to a much drier pattern today. Stronger wind Weds/Thurs. Nighttime RH will be low. Still unstable in the afternoon.
— Bottom half of the fire is looking good. Divisions Romeo + Quebec saw spotting up to 1.3 miles. Division Sierra slowly chunking to the east.
— The #DixieFire is still miles away from Meadow Valley, and crews are there putting in secondary and contingency line.
— Engines have been placed in various locations to defend and prep structures should the #DixieFire make a run in any direction.
— Command wants to protect Native sites north of the fire
— A firing operation is one option to hold Humbug
— Plumas Sheriff Todd Johns said they would always try to evacuate people in Greenville — should it be necessary — before shutting down any main highway.
— He also said communities along the west shore of Lake Almanor should be ready to leave in case an evac order comes in.
Units told to use their Hi-Lo sirens. Per scanner, they're notifying people on Pleasants Valley Road between Cherry Glen and Foothill, including all side streets.
Originally, I wasn't going to say anything about what's been happening. Then I figured, well, maybe it will help someone else.

Monday night, I began to have some relatively normal shortness of breath. I thought well, I have severe asthma so maybe it's just a flare. The next morning, I had chills and a headache with runny nose (along with the SOB).
Probably other things I'm forgetting. Nausea. Anyway, I called my PCP and they suggested I do a video visit. The assistant doc (?) said based on your symptoms, we have to treat this as if you're Covid +.
