Okay FinTwit, we have the links setup from @JW_Orlando and @RC_Orlando so you can start booking your rooms for the @FinTwitConf during Columbus Day weekend (October 8-10, 2021)

Rooms: book.passkey.com/go/FinTwit2021…

Tickets: eventbrite.com/e/fintwit-conf…

Website: FinTwit2021.com
We have 200 rooms blocked off at the JW Marriott Orlando (@JW_Orlando) and 150 rooms blocked off at The Ritz Carlton Orlando (@RC_Orlando)

We negotiated a room rate of $239/night at both hotels -- they are right next to each other and share amenities including the pools.
Once these 350 rooms are gone there's no guarantee we'll be able to get more rooms at these two properties and there's no guarantee the rate will be $239/night so hurry up and book ASAP.

The actual conference on Saturday October 9th will be in the ballroom at the JW Marriott
In order to attend all of the activities during the weekend you'll need to purchase an event ticket at eventbrite.com/e/fintwit-conf…

We decided to charge $175 which covers the food & beverages costs, the sponsors will cover the rest.
If you want to know what's included in the ticket price please go to FinTwit2021.com and click on "event details"

We'll be doing a buffet breakfast and buffet lunch on Saturday Oct 9th, both are included in the ticket price.
We already have 7 speakers and 5 sponsors confirmed -- all listed on the website at FinTwit2021.com

We'll be adding another 4-6 speakers and 5-7 sponsors in the next few days.
Even though the event doesn't technically start until Friday October 8th with the 6-9pm cocktail party, you can book rooms at our negotiated rate ($239/night) as early as Tuesday October 5th (in case you want to arrive a few days early to relax, play golf, go to Disney, etc.)
Even though the event ends on Sunday, October 10th after the morning Q&A roundtable session and the afternoon NFL party... you can stay at either property until Wednesday October 13th at our negotiated rate ($239/night)

I'm planning to be there from October 5th to October 12th.
Just as a reminder, I'm not making any money off this event.

In full disclosure we're paying $55/person for the breakfast buffet and $65/person for the lunch buffet not including 32.5% in taxes and gratuity -- so please bring your appetites!!!
Throw in another $25,000+ for A/V costs and then travel/food costs for my 2-3 helpers and the speakers plus I'll need to pay for signage, cases of water, and tons of other stuff that's not worth mentioning.

I did my best to get the costs as low as possible for everyone.
Once again, everything you probably need to know is posted at FinTwit2021.com

If you have any questions please DM me.

I think our FinTwit Conference has the potential to be a really special weekend and I look forward to meeting many of you in person

My DM's are open.

We have decided to go with the @JWMarriott and @RitzCarlton in Orlando for the FinTwit Conference during Columbus Day Weekend (October 8-10).

Tomorrow morning I'll open the bank account then sign the contract and put down the $10,000 deposit.
I have not finalized the exact schedule and where everyone is getting slotted in but so far we have an amazing group of speakers confirmed including: @PatternProfits @alphatrends @hhhypergrowth @StackInvesting @Trendspider_J @Hugh_Henne @RichardMoglen
Between the keynote speakers, breakout sessions and panels we'll have approximately 12 speakers in total.

Since attendees will have to pick which breakout sessions to attend it means they'll miss some however everyone that buys a ticket will also get the recordings for free.

I'm hoping to finalize the FinTwit Conference details by tomorrow -- it will be Columbus Day weekend in October.

Turns out the JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton are next to each other and share the same pool

JW Marriott: marriott.com/hotels/travel/…

Ritz Carlton: ritzcarlton.com/en/hotels/flor…
We've negotiated a block of rooms at both properties for $239/night plus $20 resort fee (down from $40 normally).

We've also decided to do all the content/speaking in one day (Saturday from 9am-1pm) instead of breaking it up over two days which just increases F&B costs.
This means the new schedule would be:
Friday 6-8pm: happy hour (cash bar)
Saturday 8-9am: buffet breakfast (included)
Saturday 9am-12:30pm: speakers, breakout sessions, panels (included)
Saturday 12:30-1:15pm: lunch (included)
Saturday afternoon: OPEN
Sunday: OPEN

Here's my recent interview with @OptoCMC -- I discussed why I like $UPST and $FUTU so much at current prices

**spoiler alert** because their fundamentals are incredible; I'm expecting 170-190% revenue growth from both companies this year

Listen: podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/71-…
On a related note, we got a perfect bounce off the trend line today for $UPST -- this could be the near term bottom that many investors and large funds have been waiting for post-IPO lockup expiration which was three weeks ago.
Lastly, here's a recent interview with Sam Sidhu, COO of Customers Bank (one of $UPST's bank partners); they've been working with $UPST for several years and are now processing $100+ million of consumer loans per month through the $UPST platform.

7 months ago I loaded up on $UPST $FUTU $CELH before the big revenue growth kicked in -- this worked out very well.

Now I'm doing the same thing with $DMTK $DM $CLPT b/c the big revenue growth will kick in over the next 4-6 quarters which should move these stocks much higher. Image
Just to be clear, $UPST $FUTU and $CELH are still my largest positions and I've been adding to each of them the past few days but I expect $DMTK $DM and $CLPT to be massive winners over the next 18 months as we get into that revenue acceleration.
If you don't know much about 3D printing (especially 3D printing for metal compounds/materials) then this is a great video to get you started that compares 3D printing to the more traditional methods of making metal parts ie casting and stamping
