1. I don't think the ABC is 'pushing' anything - they ran a story - as adults you can take it in and agree with the proponents in the story or not. That's fine.
2. Not all nurses work in public hospitals - eg they work in private hospitals, aged care, disability care, community care, general practice, specialist clinics, schools, child &maternal health centres, factories, construction sites, mental health clinics, parliament houses,
corporations, labour-hire, in private practice and more. That puts them pretty much on the front-line. 3. Pay rates vary drastically across all those sectors. 4. Many nurses across many sectors did find themselves needing jobseeker or jobkeeper.
