If you are going to comment on labours finances then please do so with fact. In 2015 labour had outstanding loans from elections under Tony Blair of £25 million. Plans were in place to move HQ from Southside due to the financial position of the party. 1.
2. From 2015 labour saw a mass increase in membership making it the largest political party in Europe. The loans were repaid & membership fees were sufficient to enable investment in member services & staffing including staff for the leaders office. All bought & paid for no loans
3. General elections, leadership challenges & community organising were funded because labour was receiving increased member fees & small donations.
4. Everything we had, everything we did as a party was paid for.
5. Jeremy Corbyn resigned in December 19, Jennie Formby was clearly not wanted by the new administration. But she left the party with 27 million in the bank, 13.5 million in reserves and a steady income each month from 500,000 plus members committed to supporting lab with £.
6. Now we have a reduced membership. Reduced income. One months running costs in reserve. Reduced donations. And no indication that it will improve.
7. No wonder members are concerned. No wonder the public are asking if labour can manage the economy.
8. All the facts are contained in the annual report. Signed off by the auditors, treasurers & David Evans himself. At December 2019 labour was financially viable.
9. So please stop blaming the previous administration for losses that have occurred since January 2020 under new leadership.
10. Instead ask what needs to be done to bring 120,000 socialists back to labour.
11. Personally I’d suggest kindness & respect would be the starting point. We cannot expect to agree on everything but we can be kind.
12. So putting kindness first, how do we prevent the demise of the Labour Party & ensure voters see us as a party that can manage our economy. Because by the next GE our economy is going to be worse than it was at the end of WW11.

Welsh labour has won our 6th general election with our highest number of seats, a working majority and our highest vote share. We have the most popular party leader, a socialist that cares for all not his career & image but the people & ending poverty. 1.
2. On the doorstep we didn’t hear independence, we heard respect for Mark Drakeford. There was no slagging off of Keir starmer but a great deal of disappointment expressed.
3. The only mentions of Jeremy Corbyn were the opinions that the whip should be restored.
After Sunday’s correction in Mail on Sunday I want to thank, with every bit of my heart, all my colleagues, friends & family who stood by me & with me over the past 14 months, in what has been an awful experience that no one should have to go through but sadly many do. 1.
2. Every day for the past 14 months I have sought to clear my name. There were days I couldn’t face it, days I had to force myself to keep going. My nights haunted as I sought over & over to make sense of how & why. The support of the real fellowship of labour kept me going.
3. In a detailed, painstaking investigation I have learnt things things I did not want to know. Opened doors to information I would rather have slammed shut. I cannot now ignore those discoveries. Truth, justice & fairness cannot be subjugated by political expedience.
