My mom just called
A 59 year old friend of hers was found dead. He was missing for several days.
He died at home, alone & scared. His last words to his former employer were “I haven’t been myself since the shot. I think I’m dying”
They think he died that night or the next day

I am choosing to be vague about his name & so forth as this just happened locally & I celebrated Christmas,2016 w/the man’s former employer & family
He was a volunteer in state & national parks.
So now the disaster has hit near home

Once I see my mom & get all the details and I know that his family is being properly cared for, I’ll tell you all a story about this man. He had a very neat, unusual hobby that not only was something not every 59 y/o could do; he used his skills to bless many people.
A quick word on my mom. She’s upset. Her children all took the damned thing except for me. Additionally she’s worried about selling her house & trying to get out of the way of the coming tyranny. Sometimes I look at her: 67, standing in the kitchen dealing w/ this disaster
that is our country and after all her decades of struggle, everything she’s been through to raise 4 kids, navigate failed marriages, she looks so sad. It really does break my heart.
Anyway this massive health disaster has now hit our realm & I fear this is just the beginning

PS: as I’m sure you folks can imagine I’m just spent.

2. the gentleman did go to hospital the same day he called his former employer. They did nothing & released him. But my mom says he knew something was very wrong. He was is excellent health
