detainees along with a separate division for minors until the law was changed. This is ridiculous. We had a psych ward at the jail I worked at, a Veterans tier, the "old man's tier" for older detainees, we had a division for the disabled such as if they needed a cane, walker or

wheelchair because EVERYONE has the same constitutional rights. Transgender inmates have the constitutional right to healthcare, if that is being denied the answer is not move them to the women's prison! The answer is the prison must be reported and they must comply if the

Transgender inmate wants hormones or wants to stop hormone treatment. I worked with the transgender detainees! Also pregnant women were also housed in a separate division for their safety and male correctional officers were not allowed in the female divisions because we did not

want them to be sexually assaulted and impregnated. We did not want them to be triggered or re-traumatized because most there were victims of some form of abuse. We also have Protective Custody for EVERYONE - how is it that one of the worst jails in this country could figure this

out and California can't?? Biden is letting pregnant and nursing women who cross the border illegally out of detention centers for their safety, he let a "terrorist" out of gitmo BUT legal citizens who are women who are usually in prison for non-violent offenses such as drug use

sad to tell that to a female officer who has been sexually assaulted by men inside a jail that's why leftists and libertarians need to TALK to social workers and law enforcement since we usually work together at some point. No you cannot easily de-escalated someone with a knife

who is trying to stab someone else. A taser is not accurate from a far distance so the officer has to make a very quick decision, let the person get stabbed to death or stop them with lethal force. Tasers are designed to shoot twice for law enforcement because they are not that

accurate and someone on PCP for example is very strong so that's why you see a taser needing to be used 2x but thanks to the idiots protesting and rioting, if the federal policing bill ever gets passed, tasers are considered a deadly weapon so MORE people will get shot by police.

This is what happens when leftists and libertarians just scream ACAB and refuse to talk to law enforcement because law enforcement said revise that part of the bill since police shootings will go up but nope ACAB right? I was in a jail with 48 men took their own tier hostage with

Machete size shanks (knives they made) so please lecture me on how de-escalation is the best option. You know what happened, the correctional officers were told not to use a taser since it could harm them, well they all stabbed each other, some were strangled unconscious, it was

very bloody and it cost taxpayers a ton of money since they all had to be transferred out to the hospital. This went on for hours. Had the officers been able to use a taser LESS people would have been harmed. But officers and social workers are being told how to run our own

professions by people who have zero experience in our professions. If you don't stand with women then go tell the nurses and teachers to be the police because many social workers are very angry about women being raped in prison. So this social worker with 3 degrees and extensive
