Inspired by @BowTiedBull, here’s how I started my first online income streams
1) SaaS 2) E-comm 3) Community
Thread on each below 👇
1) SaaS
Using @bubble, I built a SaaS web app all with #nocode. It’s consistently generating over $3K/mo and only took about 2-3 months to build the initial MVP.
What’s no-code?
Simply put, a way to build apps with no code. Think drag drop, basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
Why no-code?
It lets you build an app or business from day one. No need to hire outside developers. Quicker time to market. Fast testing and iteration.
You can literally build a replica of Twitter in a month (a simplified version).
E-comm
Using @Shopify, I built a niche store focused on the poker community.
I started by #dropshipping to test the market. After seeing traction, I connected with a manufacturer and slowly transitioned into my own branded products.
While e-comm is great, I tend to prefer the #nocode route as the profit margins are significantly higher
No need to deal with manufacturers, shipping, and physical inventory.
This can all be outsourced, yes, but eats into profit margins.
Will look into this in the future
Community
Using @bubble and @CircleApp, I built a paid online community for a specific niche.
Members pay monthly to be a part of the community.
Best part about it? No marketing. Word of mouth contributes to 95% of the community’s growth.
Looking to start your first online income stream?
I recommend building some app or business with no-code. It’s quick to learn and build. You won’t have to hire outside devs and the profit margins are typically 90%+ (really depends on marketing).
I’ll put up some more threads soon on SaaS / no-code / and online business.
@BowTiedBull inspired me 6+ years ago to get started. It’s time I pay it back.

Quick disclaimer: There are dozens, if not hundreds of "nocode" development platforms. I've tested out the majority of them, and here are the top ones to consider:
