What I am going to write now might sound bizarre today but will be proved right perhaps few years from now.

So here u go- the #ProjectPegasus is the finest example of idiot media houses falling in the trap of agencies, who planned this operation. Hats off to the geniuses!

First things first- the spyware aptly titled #Pegasus after some mythical horse is indeed a myth and the real software, that NSO group sells, may bear a different name. The advent of a spyware happened in the backdrop of historical events in the world of technint.

The field of technint was facing severe heat generated by revelations around XKeyscore en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XKeyscore and boundless informant program en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boundless… - both programs became known to the world during 2013

This fall of key programs coincided with the rise of ISIS announcing the formation of caliphate in June 2014- ISIS was known for their tech savvy nature. Revelations around key US programs affected tech gathering abilities allowing rise of ISIS longwarjournal.org/archives/2014/…

Another key thing that happened around 2014 was the launch of Telegram app around 2013- if you would remember much of ISIS related news used to come via Telegram channels run by ISIS then and @rcallimachi was the leading correspondent covering IsIS via that route

Much of initial success for US led alliance came in after anon groups of operatives started tracking terror modules with help of malware used to track internet/ social media activity. ISIS began suffering huge casualties- anon groups used to later post details under one hashtag

So successful was boundless informant prog that NSA collected over 97 billion pieces of intelligence globally over a 30-day period ending in Mar2013- Pak had highest number of intercepted DNR (dialed no recognition) & 2nd highest no of intercepted DNI (dialed no identification).

U.K.’s Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) using Fairview & SKYNET prog hacked into Pak Internet Exchange, a national hub of transfer for a significant portion of communications, giving the British spy agency “access to almost any user of the internet” inside Pakistan.

The reversals faced by ISIS and intrusions forced cadres to switch to IPhones for their supposedly better safety. And that is when emerged a new spyware that was primarily rumoured to target IPhones and this began the myth of something called Pegasus- year was 2016!

Since then the fear of technint became so huge that cadres of ISIS and terrorists began switching to dark age methods. However reversals suffered once broke the backbone of these terror movements and they began dying and the journey of mythical horse continued

Imagine the report that all these idiots from media are quoting talks of Saudi Arab and UAE being the biggest users of Pegasus-this when Israel’s diplomatic relationship with UAE began only a year ago!

Infact UAE is today a leader in surveillance software products and one of their companies has recently sold its premium product to Pakistan’s NTC!

Coming back to the mythical horse- the project Pegasus was based on a leaked database that was given to Forbidden led consortium - note the source of the database- join the dots . I can’t help but marvel at the genius of those who designed this counter intelligence operations

Guess what every country of this world has surveillance softwares and no one needs to resort to ride a mythical horse- if they do, then it is only to mask the usage of real surveillance spywares, that u and I may not even be aware of- welcome to the world of TechInt!

If you are really worried about your privacy then switch to dark ages like ISIS cadres did - chances are that you may not survive just as ISIS cadres didnt!
