Trump should just literally campaign in 2024 in the hot dog costume. Probably wins 39 states.
You guys can cut this lunatic loose and move forward with a Ron DeSantis or the next 2-4 years are going to be a 2020 grievance tour of the last election. It really is that simple.
And even if you cut him loose, guess what.. He's going 3rd party run and splitting the vote. Enjoy it!

He's a true believer in this kind of research. He has years invested in it. He has spent years talking, writing and promoting it and writing off the risks and that's scary shit. Once you look at it that way, his current defensiveness is clear & understand what he stands to lose.
This piece in @thenation (Yes, The Nation) is so clarifying on this. This isn't about left or right. 4 million people are dead likely because of this research. That's why he deflects and distracts. It's his life's work and funding.

"President Trump missed his July 4th goal on vaccination rates. He's blaming Facebook and social media instead."
"The President's Press Secretary Kayleigh Mceneny said in response to questions about the administrations failures to get people vaccinated, that they would be targeting Facebook post and 'fake news'.
"However the administration refused to answer questions on why Vice President Pence said he would not trust the vaccine while campaigning last year. Also the President continued to wear a mask after being vaccinated, which no doubt raised doubts in the efficacy of the vaccines"

Reminder, Jim from Bulwark worked for Josh Mandel, whom his other boss recruited, and they now collectively spend their days attempting to distance themselves from and pretend they had nothing to do with how we all ended up here.

Jim also doesn't get jokes.
I could go into Jim's other boss, Charlie Sykes, but Charlie still won't tell me what Wisconsin town his mistresses were all from.
Maybe the one or two decent people at Bulwark will wise up to how toxic the rest of their crew is.
