The first thing is that there is zero doubt about what happened on August 21, 2013. The regime carried out a massive Sarin attack, we know where the attack was launched from, what weapons were used, and who they hit.

This shows that the Grayzone op is not rooted in ignorance or confusion, but is part of a sustained and deliberate disinformation campaign. Mate isn't just promoting this recycled nonsense, he is also reprising Seymour Hersh's discredited claims. lareviewofbooks.org/article/danger…
Here it is worth noting that Seymour Hersh's article for @LRB was itself based on a VIPS "open letter" published several months earlier. But it was retailed as a scoop to Hersh by a member of the VIPS, who was Hersh's sole source (on whom he'd also rely for his Bin Laden dud).
Here's where it gets crazier. @LRB published the Hersh story on its frontpage, but it was based entirely on a single source, a VIPS member who had in turn had plagiarised it from a Canadian conspiracy site. I exposed the fraud within days of publication.
