Q 2: On many occasions we meet people saying that they have good or bad luck; is it permissible to believe in luck?

A: Muslims have to believe in the Divine Decree. They have to endure adversity patiently and thank and praise Allah at times of prosperity.

They have to believe that Allah has already divided provisions amongst His slaves and decreed for them different ages and deeds when they were just fetuses in the wombs of their mothers. Allah is All-Wise regarding all His Divine Decree.

Accordingly, it is Wajib (obligatory) on

every Muslim to ascribe all the graces and abundant provisions that people have to Allah (سبحانه): the Only One Who grants all bounties and facilitates them to His slaves. Muslims also have to ascribe anything that afflicts them to the Divine Decree.

The first question of Fatwa no. 6287

Q 1: when may a specific person be called a tyrant? Who has the right to call someone as such? Finally, what is the ruling on such a label being repeated by the common people after being conveyed from its first teller?

A: A tyrant is an oppressive person. Such a description may only be ascribed to specific people by those who have sound knowledge and certain information about people who deserve to be called so.On the other hand, it is not permissible that the common people ascribe such a label

to specific people as they are not entitled to issue a Shar'y (Islamic legal) ruling.

May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.

Its all well and good to have months long lockdown,

But when our jobs are at risk it's no longer a covid issue, you are messing with the bread on the table.

Bills aren't going to stop, but the jobs are.

Ruining livelihoods all because we too scared to catch a fever.

Pathetic.

I've had fevers in the past with both noses blocked, throat so sore I couldn't open my mouth, nose running like Niagara Falls, couldn't get out of bed for 2 weeks straight, absolutely miserable, body feeling like it's been dipped in lava and ice same time.

Yet no lockdown.

There's 100s of diseases/ilnesses transmissible from person to person which are worse than or just as bad as covid, yet I never saw this level of response for those?

Can't enter venues except if you been vaccinated?, every 3 days must get covid test or you're fired from your job

Q: In this country, some ex-Christian women who became atheists marry Muslim men. Is this permissible?

Shaykh Abdul-Aziz Ibn Baz رحمه الله: If these women turn from Christianity to atheism or communism, it is not permissible for Muslim men to marry them. They must be Christians

so that their marriage becomes permissible. However, if they turn to communism and such, they are no longer considered from the People of the Book.

Ulema also mention they must be pious, chaste and practising Christians.

Just because she says she's Christian is not enough, there are those who commit zina with multiple men a month, and those who believe in evolution or secularism etc these are not Ahlul Kitab.

Shaikh al-Allamah Ubaid Al-Jābiree (may Allah preserve him) said:

“They used to say [in the time of the Salaf]: «Test the people of Madinah by asking them about Mālik (died 179H); test the people of Syria by asking them about Al-Awzā‛ee (died 157H);

test the people of Egypt by asking them about Layth Ibn Sa’d (died 175H); test the people of Mawsul by asking them about Al-Mu‛āfah Ibn ‛Imrān (died 185H).»
