The victim was apparently decapitated in the Shakopee homicide. We were sent video and pictures which appear to confirm this. The suspect is in custody. We'll update when the booking is completed.

If our info about the suspect is correct, he was scheduled to appear in court today on another felony charge from last fall. He had been out on bail despite the fact that he was ordered to have a mental illness evaluation.
See our new thread on suspect Alexis Saborit with EXCLUSIVE updates that you won't find in any local #MNmedia.

Despite the court's observation & his defense's claim that Saborit was mentally ill, he was released on bail. This spring, his conditional release was ordered revoked & a court doc claimed he was a danger to people & community. Judge Richard C. Perkins ordered him released. ImageImageImage

Here's the court record showing the proposed revocation and then Judge Richard C. Perkins' order for release.

Saborit had a hearing scheduled on the arson charge yesterday, in which he was scheduled to appear at just about the time the murder was allegedly committed.

This is turning into another stand off situation.
Reportedly also a woman and several kids in the house that two suspects entered.
A male resident walked out earlier, but walked back in when police asked him who ran inside.
Sounds like police are going to tow a stolen vehicle from the location and then clear the area. No suspects in custody.
