Details to come.
The government expects the virus reproduction number to fall below 1.0 by October 2021 and to prepare for reopening Java and Bali in September. Currently the infection rate is at 1.5 due to the more infectious nature of the virus.
Vaccinations are to be accelerated in August and September in Java and Bali by more than 3x and until October outside of the two regions with a dramatically increased shipments of vaccines of more than 200 million doses in the next three months.

President Jokowi:
Emergency PPKM continues until August 2.
• Traditional markets: open as usual.
• Non essential market vendors: open until 3pm, 50% cap.
• Small businesses: open until 9pm
• Warungs and open air food vendors: open until 8pm, dine on site capped at 20 minutes.
It’s still PPKM Level 4, ladies and gentlemen.

Further details to come from relevant ministers, regional governments, and local authorities.

Bali’s immigration office is looking for Kristen Grey, the American woman in Bali at the center of the Twitter row about her immigration and tax status. The office said there’s no such name registered among arrivals but her social media name might be different to her actual name.
The immigration office have located Kristen Gray’s residence and plan to invite her to have a chat about her tweets. The office said she entered Bali in January 2020 and extended her visa until this year. She currently holds a valid visa to stay in the country.
The immigration has decided to deport Kristen Gray for violation of her immigration status, encouraging foreigners to move to Bali amid the pandemic and selling an e-book on how to do so. She's now being detained at the immigration office in Denpasar awaiting available flight.
