Canadians are known to be nice and polite but Chris Alexander is a rare exception. I dug around and found some interesting information. [Thread]
Not so long ago , the NSICOP came up with a report indicating foreign interference in Canada, where India was mentioned indirectly nsicop-cpsnr.ca/reports/rp-202…
A Canadian news channel also got their hands on a sensitive Canadian govt memo which stated how Indian intelligence agencies were trying to influence Canadian politicians using money and disinfo. globalnews.ca/news/6823170/c…
It is quite likely that Chris was one of those influenced as he is always pandering to the Indian PoV. For a former diplomat who made his career in Afg, he sure does not understand diplomacy. It was evident in the case of the drowning of Syrian refugee Alan Kurdi and his family.
Chris suffered a backlash because it turned out that Kurdi and his family’s refugee application had been rejected by his department. It had a huge impact on the 2015 Canadian elections where the migrant crisis was one of the main issues. cbc.ca/news/politics/…
Chris started off his anti-Pakistan vitriol in 2010 where he accused the then COAS General Kayani of wanting Indian consulates in Afghanistan to be closed and that he would be willing to launch suicide attacks to facilitate that. ndtv.com/india-news/kay…
His verbal diarrhea continued on the 1st of April 2014, where he accused Pakistan of being a state sponsor of Terrorism. cbc.ca/news/politics/…
Chris’s hatred for Pakistan was in sharp contrast to his lovefest with India. He met PM Modi in January 2015 at the Gujarat Global Investors Summit in India where they discussed zero tolerance for terror. archive.siasat.com/news/pm-modi-m…
Not only that but it seems like he is running a front for the Ind government. The evidence is based on his ties to the HFC which is linked to Sangh Parivaar.
The President of the HFC is Rao Yendamuri, who is a known associate of Modi since 2006. The HFC is linked with the Sangh Parivar, the umbrella under which the BJP, RSS, VHP and others operate.
HFC has supported Modi on the anti-Muslim CAA-NRC legislation, and the anti-farmer laws. baaznews.org/p/jaspreet-obe…
Yendamuri was found guilty and convicted in September 2017 on counts of immigration fraud and forgery, where he got religious workers to obtain temporary resident visas, temporary resident extensions, and restoration. canada.ca/en/border-serv…
Now let’s look at his propaganda against Pakistan. Chris has accused Pakistan of supporting Taliban, the Haqqani Network, among others. Furthermore, he claims they all continue to operate from Pakistan, with support from the ISI.
His propaganda regarding the alleged proxy war in Afghanistan means engaging with PTM supporters or tweeting on their behalf.
His manifesto during his campaign as Canadian Conservative leader was his pledge to support international sanctions against all Pakistani state agencies involved in support to the Taliban and other alleged terrorist groups. chrisalexander.ca/policy/afghani…
Chris likes engaging with people who aren’t friends of Pakistan (including the self-loathing crowd).
He follows Pashtun and Baloch sub-nationalists as seen in the list below.
He also follows Taha’s propaganda outlet, Gobar Arya, Hillel Neuer and Modi.
He has targeted the COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa a few times.
He has also tweeted against Pakistan on several occasions and accused them of being complicit of unrest in Afghanistan, while sympathizing with anti-Pak Afghan accounts.
The Macdonald-Laurier Institute, a Right-Wing Think Tank published his paper in March 2021 where he accused the ISI of running a proxy war in Afghanistan. macdonaldlaurier.ca/ending-pakista…
He recommended Pakistan be placed on the FATF blacklist for its alleged interference in Afghanistan and accused the ISI of seeing the Ghani government as a stalking horse for India. hindustantimes.com/world-news/pak…

Missing some Tweet in this thread? You can try to
force a refresh
Bollywood loves plaigarising movies and songs. I remember how they came up with three versions of "Sleeping with the enemy". They also had two terrible copies of "Macarena".
There was this movie "Gupt" where nearly all of the songs were copies. The title track was a direct copy of a track by Deep Forest.
The worst offence was when Anu Malik copied "We will rock you" by Queen for a Salman Khan movie.
I had a look at @KhurramDehwar's thread on the disinformation related to the 71 war and would like to add some more to it.
Days before Pakistan Resolution day, I noticed small networks retweeting the same content. Since the 23rd was coming up, I did not tweet about it as it would distract everyone.
The campaign kept continuing with the hashtag used in the tweets below. You will see an interesting connection here.
Thread: On the 26th of August, a hashtag was reactivated to commemorate Akbar Bugti's death anniversary. I was given a tip that a lot of the users were not Baloch. So, I obtained the data for the entire data and made some interesting discoveries.
There were around 1800+ participants in the trend, with an original tweet count of 10k+ tweets. This does not count the retweets, as that would be redundant.
Imagine my surprise to see that the most active ones were not Pakistani. There were Baloch participants but not as much as the ones next door. Here is a chart for the Top 10 participants in the trend. Ignore "gamesreeder" as it got in the way.
I wonder why our neighbors are busy spreading fake news.
Not a coincidence that GB shared something similar earlier. It's not a coincidence that someone is purposely trying to sow the seeds of chaos. They don't care about Pakistan. It's about causing as much destruction as possible.
I have been analysing trends for years and have seen a lot of interesting stuff. When it comes to certain hashtags, there is always the presence of our neighbors there.
There are many hashtags where I discovered a heavy influx of our neighbors. How did I find out that they were from there? I am not lazy like some people to only depend on the location data. If people knew how to do their work, they would have known where they are from.
Some users don't share their location nor do their names give any clues from where they are. Those handles are not in the mix.
I think I need to go on a vacation next year where I leave all my devices at home. It's the weekend and I am excited about the work I will get to do.
Work challenges are always exciting for me. It gives me the ability to learn more. Most of the time, I finish before the deadline. The only obstacles are hardware issues or power outages.
If I had more resources and quality hardware, the results would be 350 percent better.
