I’m ashamed that I’ve only learnt today that many #NHS staff have opted out of the pension scheme because they can’t afford the contributions 😟

Hearing some many people say they can't/couldn't afford to pay into a pension scheme is heartbreaking.
We, or certainly me, was told that if we work hard we could enjoy a good life later on. What a cruel myth!
