Biden taking aim at DeSantis and GOP governors for rejecting vaccine and mask mandates. He really struggling to read teleprompter.
The president of the United States is angry that some elected leaders don’t want children to wear face masks. This has nothing to do with science, pure power and control.

No mention of unvaccinated illegals pouring over the border.

But no mean tweets!
He’s now rambling about democracy versus autocracy. Can’t make it up.

“As they’re lying in bed dying, they ask the doctor if it’s too late to get the vaccine. It’s about life and death.” *creepy whispering*
Biden says Cuomo should resign.

Kaitlin Collins—He used a photo of you embracing him. Lol

Listening to hearing on 5 men charged with numerous crimes related to January 6. Judge McFadden presiding. Status hearing but a few are in pre-trial detention. Government just filed another motion explaining delay in full discovery for this case. As I reported last week...
McFadden was not happy in Hale hearing after DOJ admitted it won't fulfill full discovery obligation until early 2022 at the soonest. AUSA talking about plea offers to the defendants.

DOJ still working on a system to furnish all discovery. "Don't know how or when" it will be up.
McFadden: "I am concerned discovery has been a moving target." Defendants incarcerated for a "number of months." Getting to a point where it's "not acceptable." Says government keeps moving promised discovery deadline.

Oh my: "Men wanted to thank him. Children said they looked up to him. Women swooned. (Fanone turned down a request to pose nude in Playgirl.) Liberals posted worshipful memes. Joan Baez, the singer and activist, made an oil painting of his face and captioned it."
“If I didn’t speak out against Trump, would people think I was just another evil white cop?” What he hoped to make people understand was that he wasn’t some exceptional “good cop”—he was every cop."

Listening to hearing for Kyle Young, Tom Sibick, and Albuquerque Cosper Head. They are charged in the assault of Officer Fanone. All 3 are behind bars awaiting trial. (Head and Young are in Virginia prison, Sibick is in DC Deplorable jail.)
Amy Berman Jackson presiding. Indictment here.

Jackson asking for status on discovery.

DOJ: Claims they provided "substantial" amount of discovery to defendants. Offered plea deals to Young and Head, talking to Sibick on plea.

Jackson: How much bwc footage collected on this case?

DOJ: Some, but "a lot more" coming.

DOJ prosecutor publicly told court what those of us following Capitol Breach probe already knew: The government still hasn’t made evidence accessible to defendants and defense lawyers. And full discovery won’t be available until early 2022–at the earliest: amgreatness.com/2021/07/30/unp…
McFadden scolded DOJ for arresting first, building case much later. Nearly 7 months after first arrests, DOJ admits full trove of digital evidence, which may include exculpatory evidence, isn’t available to defendants. But it isn’t stopping DOJ from demanding pre-trial detention.
Hale isn’t charged with any violent crime. He was arrested Jan 15 after 5-hour voluntary interview with FBI. An egregious case—he’s been behind bars since his arrest. McFadden, now worried about constitutional violations, denied his release in March.

Now listening in on status hearing for Tim Hale-Cusanelli. Judge McFadden presiding. He's been behind bars since January, faces no violent charges. Wrote about the case here:

amgreatness.com/2021/07/12/the…
DOJ: Plea offer extended after last hearing. Government didn't hear back from defense attorney because he cannot get a hold of Hale in DC jail. "Cannot meet with his client or hear from his client." This DIRECTLY CONTRADICTS what DC DOC said in a statement yesterday.
DOJ wants Hale to plead guilty to felony count of obstruction. "If we do set a trial date, the government cannot meet discovery obligations until early 2022." That's a conservative estimate, she says. Slow-walking discovery to force defendants into plea deals. "We need time."

DOJ opposition to change of venue motions in J6 cases is quite funny. "The defendants go on to make sweeping and offensive claims about District residents and their (allegedly homogenous) viewpoints, casting both aspersions and a wide net in their claim that so many District...
residents have such an antipathy towards Trump and his supporters that it would be 'impossible' to locate impartial jurors here. Among other baseless assertions about District residents, the defendants claim that a jury in this District 'will be overwhelmingly composed of..
individuals who...hate [the defendants] because [they are]Trump supporter[s]...have nothing culturally in common with [the defendants] [and] [w]ho will feel peer pressure from the local ‘cancel culture’ to convict.”

LOL.
