‘The Prince’ is a new @hbomax series about the royals and it really doesn’t hold back.

From Kate Middleton as an alcoholic to Camilla as a mute, the show has received backlash from critics and royal correspondents alike.

Warning: spoilers ahead. 👇

The show follows Prince George on quests like getting Kelly Ripa to follow him on Instagram and becoming a star on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills".

George tortures his butler, can't stand his younger sister, and constantly sucks up to the Queen.

The choice to make George, a real royal child, the main character has sparked the majority of the criticism towards the show.

A fan account for the Cambridge family tweeted about their disagreement with the show.

Prince Harry and Megan Markle are portrayed moving into a small LA flat and are seemingly unemployable. Harry is also in awe at the workings of a refrigerator.

Orlando Bloom plays Harry and has since become neighbours and friends with the prince.

Despite the release of the show being delayed after the death of Prince Philip, he still features as a babbling old man who can't speak or even chew his food.

"Get the defibrillator paddles ready," George quips in the first episode.

Kate and William don’t get off lightly either. Kate comes across as an alcoholic in the show, often seen guzzling a glass of wine — or five.

Sophie Turner, who has previously asked for privacy for her own child, voices Princess Charlotte in the series.

Fans didn’t shy away from calling Turner a hypocrite for taking the role which is parodying the young royal.

After years of anticipation, Black Widow is finally getting her own breakout film.

But what does it take for Scarlett Johansson to transform into the role?

Personal trainer Eric Johnson shares how he helped Scarlett get in shape to play #BlackWidow.

Scarlett Johansson has portrayed the Black Widow character in Marvel films for over a decade.

But when she first got the role in 2009, Scarlett said had never stepped foot in a gym.

So she began meeting with celebrity personal trainer, Eric Johnson.
To help prepare Scarlett for the role, they agreed to focus on strength and functional movement, rather than looks.

“We want to prepare the actor for anything that’s thrown at them, so they can do what they do best, and that’s act,” Eric explained.

Kids cartoon's lack of gender diversity parallels underrepresentation behind the scenes. But queer women, trans, and nonbinary creatives are pushing for representation in an industry that, at times, isn’t welcoming. 👇

insider.com/queer-women-tr…
When Noelle Stevenson, the nonbinary lesbian showrunner of “She-Ra and the Princesses of Power” rebooted the ‘80s classic into one of the queerest shows on TV, Stevenson inadvertently waded into a complex debate about what is “good” and “bad” representation.
The show's nonbinary shapeshifting alien Double Trouble was met with both praise and pushback.

Fans criticized the character's role as a villain and as another representation of a nonbinary character whose gender nonconformity was conflated with literal "alienness."
