Nurse every 12 hours because they just don’t have enough people to cover this area. Each nurse is in charge of 10 plus patients each with unique needs. One nurse showed me 15 text messages she got during one shift from other hospitals begging her to come help. I’ve barely seen

The doctors that are in charge of my care. One tech in charge of CT scans told me he was the only one in charge of doing the scans for the ENTIRE hospital. The night I came EVERY seat in the ER was taken. I saw people with IVs in the halls waiting for a room that isn’t coming

And guess what? This hospital is the LEAST BUSIEST ONE IN THE VALLEY. The nurses have shown me numbers for other hospitals and everyone is beyond slammed. Yet despite this the women who have cared for me have been nothing but angels, literally fucking angels. Helping me with

a smile on their face despite being overwhelmed. They are doing the best they can. So fuck the willingly #unvaccinated people who are not doing their part. They are screwing everyone from medical staff to regular people. I’ve only mentioned a fraction of the issues I’ve seen

During my stay here. The leaders who are pushing against simple measures like wearing masks need to be out of office, they are plainly not fit to serve the public ESPECIALLY @CCSD_Trustees who are telling their parents Covid is a lie and not to mask their kids.

Even if you don’t get COVID it will impact you if you need a hospital. I’ve seen moms comfort their child with broken bones, open wounds, fevers etc without being seen by staff for a lot longer than a parent should have to wait just because how slammed our hospitals are

Please do your fucking part, help our city of #LasVegas and get the shot. Do it for the moms who have to tell their children with tears in their eyes that they’ll get help soon. It’s just plain sad that I bounded with my nurses over that fact that we both experienced

180s when it comes to public support. We went from being heroes to villains pushing some made up agenda when all we are doing is trying to help and care for the people of this city. So yeah keep harassing the shit out of the #unvaccinated they are responsible for this mess

Now if you excuse me, I’m going back to healing so I can be back with my scholars as soon as I can because despite being in horrible pain, I’m still thinking about them and how much ground I’m going to have make up with them because I will be out for 1st 2 weeks of school. #rant
