Faith: I’ve lost faith, not in God, but in my fellow human beings, my neighbors, friends and at times family to do what’s right…”

“…I had faith we would help each other, protect each other and assure each other that we could prevail. We came together for WWII and 9/11 yet I’ve lost faith that many fail to realize that CoVID is as dire and dangerous as those events…”

I’ve also lost faith in those of spiritual leadership that fail to realize God can inspire scientists as much as themselves…”

Dr. Scott had to medically retire. His wife says one year after he was diagnosed with COVID he tried to go back to work non clinically as head of research at LSU. He lasted 6 weeks & relapsed with post COVID Guillain-Barre like syndrome.

So now he is unable to work. Still doing PT twice weekly. Getting stronger but the fatigue is still overwhelming, his wife says.
