Someone tell this guy about what the Japanese did in Nanking
In 1945 Japan wasn't even trying to win WWII

They were only trying to kill as many Americans as possible to force us to negotiate

We still haven't run out of all the Purple Hearts minted in anticipation of some 1 million American servicemen deaths invading Japan's home islands
And if you think the only moral course for the United States was to come to terms with Japan's brutal military dictatorship, say so
Also never mind apparently that we haven't seen a great power war in 80 years, and still this guy thinks mutually assured destruction doesn't work to deter war

For all the idle talk of “going back to Jim Crow” from Democrats, a vaccine passport for NYC restaurants would be the real deal
The real “white fragility” is rich white NYC liberals not wanting to be around unvaccinated black and brown people
Same people: “Any policy with a ‘racist’ impact, even if it is neutral on face, is in fact racist.”

In addition to being a bunch of virtue-signalling disloyal jerks, Black Rifle Coffee makes really crappy coffee
Didn’t mention this before because I wanted to give a friendly brand a chance to get its footing…but there were big problems

No roasting dates on the bags, for instance…they were selling stale coffee
Pro tip is that you want to see roasting dates, not expiration dates, on your coffee

Expiration date just tells you when *they* think their coffee is bad

In reality it’s bad a lot sooner

Every legit roaster puts a roasting date on their coffee

This attempt to cajole social media companies into censoring Americans should be seen as impeachable
This is America, we should not tolerate federal government censorship

It should be deterred with the strongest possible sanction
If Trump was impeached for a phone call Biden can be impeached for running roughshod over the First Amendment

Wait, is David French demanding that conservatives refrain from using government power to achieve conservative ends?

Must be a day that ends in -day
If this isn't a distillation of @sohrab Ahmari's great coinage - "David Frenchism" I don't know what is.

"Don't write new law to solve a novel problem, instead, rely on older law and hope that courts read a broad statute the way you want them to. And if they don't, oh well!" Image
Another aspect of David Frenchism:

"This old law that liberals wrote is good, right, and just. But this new law that conservatives would write is un-American. Never mind that they are based on the same principles and constitutional foundation."

You mean *our* mountain

Losing wars has consequences
In the same way that the mountain doesn't belong to the tribes the Lakota took it from, it doesn't belong to the Lakota anymore
Of course, if you'd like the mountain back, @LakotaMan1, the simplest step is to just embrace your American citizenship, and voila it's yours again

I read the Cosby opinion from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, it's pretty persuasive

Bruce Castor publicly announced that he would not prosecute Cosby as a way of forcing him to testify in the civil case, unable to assert any Fifth Amendment rights
Then ten years later, Castor's successor went ahead and prosecuted Cosby, based on incriminating testimony that Cosby had given in the civil case

We really don't want a world where prosecutors can bait-and-switch defendants on their Fifth Amendment rights
