CDC finally conceded yesterday that

“…LIMITED EVIDENCE IN REAL-WORLD SETTINGS TO DATE CORROBORATES the findings that vaccination can provide improved protection for previously infected individuals.”
It’s buried in the August 6th early release of their four page Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report here:

cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/7…
Their MMWR is a study of antigen+PCR test data (which they no longer rely on) that suggests there’s a real-world benefit from the vaccine for those with prior infection, but it fails to generate a causal link between the vaccine & improved outcomes for those with prior infection.
“As of May 1, 2021, CDC transitioned from monitoring all reported vaccine breakthrough cases to focus on identifying & investigating only hospitalized or fatal cases due to any cause [to] help maximize the quality of the data collected on cases of greatest …importance.”-CDC site
Yet the window for analyzing the PCR & antigen test data to determine reinfection for the purposes of their contrived MMWR study was from May 1 to June 30… whether asymptomatic or symptomatic!

Coincidence?
They acknowledge five limitations of the study but the biggest flaw is they count asymptomatic cases and we all know unvaccinated people are more likely to get tested and will therefore produce more positives. In fact, some employers require unvaccinated to get tested frequently!
Instead of saying “vaccinated are possibly less likely to get tested,” why didn’t they try to correct for the more-likely-to-get-tested bias among the unvaccinated vs the vaccinated? Aren’t negative tests retained in the database? If not, there must be some way to estimate bias.

Many prior assumptions or hypotheses about COVID vaccines were challenged by the information in today’s CDC MMWR report.

This is a thread with some of the prior assumptions and hypotheses compared to the troubling information from Barnstable County, MA:
Prior assumption:
Most infections are occurring among the unvaccinated.

Report:
“vaccination coverage among eligible Massachusetts residents was 69%. Approximately three quarters (346; 74%) of cases occurred in fully vaccinated persons”
Prior assumption:
Vaccinated individuals who contract COVID will likely be asymptomatic.

Report:
“Overall, 274 (79%) vaccinated patients with breakthrough infection were symptomatic.”

Are the unvaccinated really responsible for vaccine resistant strains?

Insects & bacteria exposed to less than 100% effective insecticides & antibiotics develop a resistance to them.

The resistance evolves in populations subjected to the treatment, not in untreated populations
For instance, we’ve known for a long time that using antibiotics broadly across entire populations of animals, whether the animals are sick or not, or using antibiotics as prophylactics, tends to encourage the development of antibiotic-specific resistant strains of bacteria.
Furthermore, it’s standard procedure in orchards to alternate between insecticides that have different modes of action, or to apply two insecticides at once with each having different modes of action, to avoid rendering either of the insecticides obsolete due to “escape.”

Let’s NOT repeat this history:

From 1998 to 2000, the mandatory anthrax vaccine program for the military lowered morale, diminished readiness due to adverse reactions, & caused many highly skilled members to leave the military.

The following is from GAO-02-445 Anthrax Vaccine:
While many factors can and do influence an individual’s decision to participate in the military, a significant number of pilot and aircrew members cited the required mandatory anthrax immunization as a key reason for reducing their participation or leaving the military altogether
Between Sept 1998 and Sept 2000, about 16% of the pilots and aircrew members of the guard and reserve had (1) transferred to another unit (primarily to nonflying positions to avoid or delay receiving the anthrax shots), (2) moved to inactive status, or (3) left the military.

Thank you to the science-illiterate libs who boosted my military-vaccine tweet to 13 million impressions!

I’m no expert on the terms under which someone would be discharged from the military for refusing a vaccine, and I don’t give legal advice but there’s a history...
1999-02-27 TRAVIS AFB — An airman who refused to receive a controversial anthrax vaccination will be discharged under "other than honorable conditions" instead of facing a court-martial, the U.S. Air Force announced last night.
“While 80 members of the military have refused the vaccinations, Bettendorf was the first to face a court- martial. All of the others had received ‘other than honorable’ discharges.”

Tonight, I introduced legislation to prevent members of the Armed Forces from being forced to take the COVID-19 vaccine. My bill, HR 3860, prevents federal funds from being used to require a member of the Armed Forces to receive a vaccination against COVID-19. Here is page 1.
Page 2 of HR 3860 prevents adverse disciplinary actions from being taken against service personnel who decline the vaccine.
And here is the Constitutional Authority statement.

The problem:

Four corporations control 85% of meat processed in the United States. One of these companies is Chinese, one is Brazilian. Prices are going up in the supermarkets. The oligopoly is enabled by over-regulation of small American owned processors by the US government.
The consequences:

Farmers are unable to get a fair price for their livestock, while the price of meat increases in grocery stores. Due to the centralized nature of the processing, shortages sometimes occur, and when outbreaks of food borne illness occur, it affects many states.
The solution:

Our bipartisan, bicameral PRIME Act (which we are about to reintroduce) would allow small processors who comply with state regulations to sell within their states without being overly regulated by USDA.
