Here are my top 9 #FPL tips to be successful, this may or may not help you! Take it if you like or play the way you want 😃🙌
1. Team Balance
- always try to have a nice blend of a template and differential players.
- 2 or 3 premium players should do, and spread out the funds
- don't put all your eggs into one basket
2. The Bench
- Never ignore the bench
- 3-4-3 is the most popular for a reason, finding a starting 4.5m mid is easier than a 4.5 striker
- have at least 2 solid players who can come in to give you at least 2 points
3. Team Bias
- Never have team bias
- We all love our fav teams but don't let that influence your FPL decisions
- keep the rivalry aside and take this as a game
4. Be flexible
- If a move or two doesn't go as expected
- Or if you're missing out on a player who is buzzing
- Don't be stubborn to make changes, be quick enough to accept your mistakes
5. Impact of Captaincy
- Captaincy plays a huge role
- I personally don't prefer way too maverick picks as captains
- like captaining a def or gk
- I tend to stick with the premiums or the most popular ones in general
- take a few gambles within the mid or premium options
6. Save the Chips
- Similar to captaincy, chips play a vital part
- Save the chips to be best used in blank/double/triple game weeks
- it has higher chances of boosting your ranks
7. Decision Making
- I make my decisions with both stats and eye test
- don't just take players based on data or eye test or just a gamble
- try to put all this into consideration before making a decision.
9. Mini Leagues
- Mini leagues are the real fun
- join as many as possible with your friends and colleagues
- Enjoy the league race, banter, and a lot more of football
Thanks for sticking around. Hope this made some sense and will hopefully help you along the season.
Here is wishing everyone a great season!
Have fun!
