@1MikeMorris I checked Singh's tik tok out and noted he was trying to groom pre-teens & teens to become followers years before they can vote. It concerns me deeply that those followers may think is honestly presenting NDP policy because he isn't. He's gaslighting, misinforming and projecting.
@1MikeMorris 1. Opposition members who focus on solely on attacking the gov't in office and/or obstructionism are political misfits. Their antagonism neuters their ability to work collaboratively & produce results that benefit those whose interests they are elected to serve.
@1MikeMorris 2. Another reason I no longer support the federal NDP is because Singh has a patterned behavior of presenting issues as false dichotomies - informal fallacies based on a premise that erroneously limits what options are available.
@1MikeMorris 3. After he presents an issue as a false dichotomy he asks you to add your name or sign a petition. You click and provide all your personal information prior to reading any formal policy. That data is then mined by Singh's staff who flood you with membership & donation requests.
@1MikeMorris 4. All minority gov'ts are fragile and Singh is busy promoting himself as a future PM, regardless of the damage he does, and the reality that he won't make it. He has proposed bills he knew the Liberals couldn't support & the CPC were happy to play along both times
@1MikeMorris 5. Singh is a lawyer & has been an MP & the NDP leader since 2017. He gets exactly what he wants from proposing bills that don't pass. He gets to beat up on Trudeau & the Liberals for not supporting it & that appeals not only to his own base but to Liberals base too.
@1MikeMorris 6. Singh got new supporters from proposed bills that failed to get support. He fueled a petition and got signatures from folks who now view him favorably across social media platforms because they didn't detect the political deception.
@1MikeMorris 7. Singh NDP and Scheer CPC chose to conduct a #witchhunt & threw students under the bus. Morneau and Trudeau were in a catch 22 situation as it was a money issue it required a vote both were damned if they recused and damned if they didn't recuse. #WEcharity
@1MikeMorris 9. Finkelstein said the key to success in political marketing is to find something that moves people from rational to emotional mode & then attack your opponent & their supporters daily. No one does baseless political attack better than Singh, O'Tool'e & conservative biased media
@1MikeMorris NOTE: I'm taking a break to eat as dinner in on the table.
@1MikeMorris is not in - oops!
@1MikeMorris More misrepresentations and/or lies.
months ago Singh made a video in support of the BC NDP election call during a pandemic assuring how safe it would be. 1.
@1MikeMorris (2020) BC Green Leader @SoniaFurstenau
BLASTS BC NDP Gov't calling an election. Exactly what NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh says about PM Justin Trudeau TODAY
@1MikeMorris 10. I concur with what Sunshiny has expressed in this thread. threadreaderapp.com/thread/1400962…
@1MikeMorris 11. Singh wrote to Governor General Mary Simon in late July to suggest she refuse if Trudeau asks her to start a general election because the minority Parliament isn’t functioning.
