In January of 2021 our county went from the original COVID-19 strain to suddenly a whole bunch of new strains. Interesting, that date, wouldn't you think?
If you'll remember (and the internet certainly does), we suddenly shifted our testing paradigms. When did that happen, you ask? On January 20, 2021, to be precise. And we saw a drastic downturn in cases and mortality.
But after a couple months, we started seeing cases again. Deaths, not so much, but cases. What are the odds that these are various random coronavirus strains (i.e., the common cold) that have been around for a while, and we suddenly started testing for them after January 20?
Sure, they may not be, but it seems awfully suspicious the timing and the sudden shift from deaths, deaths, deaths to cases, cases, cases. And the sudden new reporting of all these other various coronavirus strains.
If I didn't know better, I'd think our government was trying to keep us afraid and locked down while trying to keep selling the common cold as COVID-19. But certainly they wouldn't be that nefarious, would they? They have our best interests in mind!

When you watch this video, note that the almost complete destruction of this town and several others was made possible by California Governor @GavinNewsom's catastrophic response to fire prevention and firefighting needs, which I'll outline in a thread below.
@GavinNewsom Newsom signed an executive order authorizing prescribed burns that treated only 11,399 acres of land. He claimed 90,000 acres were treated to prevent wildfire spread. For reference, the Dixie Fire in the video above is now at almost 500,000 acres.
@GavinNewsom 2020 was the most destructive fire season in California history, and saw the largest fire ever to burn through California at over a million acres. The number of acres treated for fire prevention in 2020 was only half of what was treated in 2019.

Nope, no 'lasting negative impact' here! ImageImageImageImage
Can't see how these children could possibly have any 'lasting negative impact' from this kind of healthy activity. ImageImageImageImage

California governor @GavinNewsom slashed $150 million from Cal Fire’s wildfire prevention budget in 2020 and then lied that the number of acres treated with fuel breaks and prescribed burns was 690% more than had actually been treated. #RecallGavinNewsom sfgate.com/politics/artic…
The reason why you're seeing huge fires like the Dixie Fire and 2018's Camp Fire in California now isn't climate change; it's Newsom's dangerous policies at work, often mixed with @PGE4Me negligence and slow reporting, to create a catalyst waiting to ignite and spread.
@PGE4Me When you lie about efforts to protect critical areas from wildfire and don't do nearly what you've promised to keep them safe, and then slash the state firefighting budget by millions, what do you think will happen?

The latest CDC hoopla over sudden spiking cases in the U.S. pointed to Providencetown, MA as a reason to lock down again and force masks on everyone, vaccinated or not. Alex here is the town manager of Providencetown. Read through his short thread and we'll talk a bit about it.
Providencetown, MA is a sleepy little New England town right on the coast. It has a permanent population of about 3,000 people, so when you look at the numbers, they might seem alarming. After all, 900 people in a town of only 3,000 falling ill with a deadly virus is a lot!
But those little coastal New England towns have this phenomenon that happens in the summer they like to call "summer folk." The weather turns nice and all of the sudden their sleepy little town of 3,000 swells to about 60,000. The "summer folk" have come back.

We first identified COVID-19 as a threat around December 2019. Vaccines were available via President Trump's Operation Warp Speed before Christmas 2020.

We first identified the Delta variant in December 2020. Does President @JoeBiden have a time-line for a vaccine yet?
We already have several highly effective vaccines for the original virus. Making a vaccine for this variant based on the original should be a simple process.

Any progress on this, or is this administration's response just "mask up and save lives, you rubes?"
If you remember, these mRNA vaccines were supposed to attack the proteins around the virus itself, not the actual virus. Does the Delta variant have a completely different protein shield around it? Does the mRNA concept only work with certain virus mutations?
