5:00am, youths from #Akkar exposed a tank for storing gasoline in a site in Al-Talil area, north Akkar.
A camouflaged area for building materials, but actually it was a reservoir full of gasoline for the aim of monopolizing it or smuggled it to Syria (as stated)

The Lebanese army confiscated most of the quantity, which was about 60,000 liters, according to a video that circulated yesterday at the moment the site was revealed.
They left 20,000 liters to be distributed to the people for free.
/2
People with shortage of gasoline headed at dawn to the site to take advantage of the opportunity to fill in gasoline in light of the shortage of the substance and in anticipation of the crazy rise it witnessed after the lifting of subsidies.
/3
While the citizens gathered around the place, the son of the owner of the land where the hidden tank was located, tried to ignite the quantity with a cigarette lighter, and then proceeded to shoot the tank, in retaliation for his "loss" by confiscating the gasoline found,

which led to the immediate explosion that killed dozens of people.
Expectations indicate a possible increase in the number of victims, whether from the burnt or the death of the injured, who are in very critical condition.

#Akkar is mourning💔
Who is behind this crime?
Who is protecting the smugglers?
Do security officials have the courage to arrest the #murderers, the #smugglers' operators and the big heads?
The names are known!

And after the @LBpresidency signed the public procurement Law No.244 of July 19, 2021,,,
The Free Patriotic Movement’s MPs challenged the Public Procurement Law in front of the constitutional council describing it as ‘illegible’😡
