#StarTrek fans know her as the iconic Lt. Uhura on the original TV series, groundbreaking at the time for a Black woman to be cast in a non-stereotypical role.

Now, her wellbeing has been called into question.

Nichols has been under conservatorship since 2018, since her only child Kyle Johnson filed a petition for it, arguing that Nichols’ dementia made her susceptible to exploitation.

Along with some other TV colleagues, Gilligan sifted through works from artists all over the world to produce “99.1% Pure: Breaking Bad Art.”
To many artists, the opportunity was one filled with gratitude.

Gov. Newsom decisively fended off a recall with a two-pronged strategy: nonstop GOP bashing & an unapologetic embrace of vaccine mandates.

Now, the architects of his win say Democrats across the country should follow suit in next year’s midterm election.
