Emergency Executive Board Meeting

There is a human resources discussion and review of the employee handbook by Ron Huttle in which he states it "hasn't been updated a lot in 23 years" and signing NDAs which is described as "standard procedure" to "protect the party".

Carnahan asks if members have questions regarding NDAs.

Paul Anderson asks: "In the past. Have committe members had to sign NDAs?"
Jennifer says "No".

Bobby Benson: What prompted the desire for those to be signed THIS time?

Jennifer provided a long winded answer stating...

... it was because there is so much more personnel and internal "sensitive information".

*It should be noted that this meeting is dragging along very slowly and convened at 9:07.

Board Member and Finance Chair Jennifer Larson says:

"I'm supportive of NDAs in this group because of media leaks... and it's completely upsetting... It's a good idea."

A member just spoke up regarding an email he received from a woman describing alleged "quid pro quos" and "constant sexual harassment from a staffer."

Another member has addressed the allegations I've been publishing and stated he's received texts with corroborating details.

The entire meeting has been halted because I am tweeting updates for the sake of transparency to the public.

Member Bobby Benson does not want to adjourn the meeting "for the sake of transparency" regardless of my updates and others' opinions of me @RebsBrannon

Benson: "I don't care. I don't give a shit."

Some members are refusing to ajourn.

Chairwoman Carnahan has just said on leaks to the press:

"Your hurting our brand and our party... and our party's values. That's on you. You're not putting the party first."

One member said they're happy to show their entire apartment to prove I'm not in the room w/ them and: "We're not in Executive session so this should be an open meeting."

Finance Chair Jennifer Larson:
"No one was pressured to sign and NDA.... I feel like this is mob mentality.

She says the reason we have NDAs is because of reasons like me currently tweeting.

There was a lengthy discussion back and forth, arguing about me and trashing my character, transparency, and whether to adjourn or not for almost 30 minutes.

The issue of Andy Apilkowski was not discussed due to me being on the call.

Then to the audit:

Someone: What's the scope? What's it gonna cost?

Gary Steuart says he has received a bunch of emails asking for an audit:
"I think this board has a right to see these Financials."

Gary: "If it's looked at properly, it's an inpersonal thing."

Carnahan in response: So Gary... You know everything is public, right?

Gary: <pause> Yeah...?

Patti Meier says she's in favor of an audit. Brought up issue how sometimes FEC reports aren't as detailed and vague.

Talk of audit has been ongoing last 20 minutes but I've reeled back live tweeting since it upset the board greatly.

One member on the audit: "It must be realistic. But there's money restraints we have. Time constraints. I just want everyone to be clear what you're asking for."

Ron Huttel says an audit would take very long, months, and there needs to be a structure and plan in place and stressed how much of the financial information is already public.

He says he will be busy with a lot coming up like the Fair.

Benson says, " We are in crisis. Just because it's going to be difficult....or tendious doesnt mean it's not a task worthwhile."

The board then voted in favor of an audit.

After the audit vote, a female member voted to adjourn the meeting again.

Someone else favored to adjourn due to my tweets.

Members just voted to adjourn.

There was not one discussion or call for Chairwoman Carnahan’s tweets.
