The ICC investigates and tries those who have committed crimes against humanity. This includes cases of war crimes, torture, apartheid, ethnic cleansing and genocide.
Over 100 countries have ratified the treaty establishing the ICC's jurisdiction. However, the U.S. has not ratified the treaty even though we helped establish the ICC in the late 1990s.
Lately, the ICC has been working on 2 investigations that have been controversial in the U.S.
The Civilian Climate Corps & the GND for Cities became the newest bills in the GND family this week. The GND resolution has also inspired over a dozen bills, including 10 regional green new deals. Here are some recent successes:
The American Rescue Plan, which was signed into law earlier this year, contained Emergency Water relief.
2. The Green New Deal for Public Housing, which I introduced with @SenSanders
This bill includes language to repeal the Faircloth Amendment, which would eliminate the federal limit on public housing. Last year, the Repeal the Faircloth Amendment Act passed in the House.

'In late June, we sent time-sensitive notarized legal documents by priority mail. They never arrived and they appear to still be sitting in a distribution center. We had to travel to another state to re-sign and re-notarize the documents in person at the lawyer's office.' (2/6)
