This thread will give some insight into the unprofessional workplace of the MNGOP, the misconduct, lack of oversight & questions of proper procedural handling of alleged workplace incidents. Some details date back a few months ago during my investigations.
2/25
Today I’ve been notified some victims are opening up to other press, some already this evening via social media I will keep retweeting - their experiences related to the toxicity of the MNGOP culture enabled by Chairwoman Carnahan. As a reminder, to anyone harassed...
3/25
...or hurt by the Chairwoman or those she enabled around her, please feel that you can speak despite the MNGOP seemingly being unable to acknowledge those who have been allegedly hurt and affected, including those mentioned in the @MNCRs statement from this past weekend.
4/25
In 2020, Carnahan & staffers, along with Spencer Krier, were on a business trip in Las Vegas for the Nevada caucus. In obtained snapchat messages, Krier is revealed to be rooming with others including a female staffer, according to my source who shared the texts & details.
5/25
These Snapchat messages show this MNGOP employee txting another female MN operative while on an official MNGOP business trip about a "hot black girl" he “met on the strip” and “was not tight at all.”
6/25
Krier is the subject of the alleged Georgia rape/assault in which the MNGOP acknowledged “the claim had been resolved” in a press release yesterday. While these texts are rather salacious, they speak to the years of unprofessional culture & inappropriate behavior enabled...
7/25
...by Carnahan in her administration, especially while on the job with staffers acting in unprofessional ways.
In addition to ‘MNGOP staffer vacations’ as detailed in my previous threads, these texts simply further reveal the inappropriate and sex charged environment...
8/25
... in Carnahan’s administration that sources repeatedly stated was common throughout the years.
On Facebook, last night after the Emergency Executive Board meeting, Finance Chair Jennifer Larson responded to a concerned activist’s...
9/25
...questions regarding HR procedure and the handling of the alleged rape/assault the MNGOP finally addressed yesterday.
Larson, one of the 15 members of the Exec. Board, states that such claims of assault and harassment are managed by HR & personnel committee..
10/25
which, apparently, consists of herself and some of the board members. To my knowledge there was no further response to the activist by Larson.
Mary Frutiger is the MNGOP Personnel Chair with Ron Huettl (Board Member) as HR at the MNGOP...
11/25
...it therefore calls into question whether Frutiger, Huettl, Larson, or any other Board Member handled the “claim” as stated in the MNGOP press release if we are to believe Carnahan did not handle it herself, nor was made aware of its existence.
12/25
It should be noted that the original press release was up almost an hour when it was suddenly deleted after it was bombarded with unsupportive comments.
The corrected statement was later uploaded and updated to add "the claim had been resolved."
13/25
It’s unclear if Frutiger or Huettl investigated any of the allegations I’ve reported on & specifically about Georgia. And again, if we’re to believe the MNGOP was made aware in April, activists & those who knew of the incident wondered why Krier was still allowed to stay..
14/25
..on staff for months thereafter.
Krier is seen here hanging out with the Chair of the personnel committee, Frutiger, for his birthday this past July - dated after the alleged Georgia incident and the MNGOP purportedly finding out about the incident in April.
15/25
The nature of any formal investigation has still been left unanswered by the MNGOP.
Today Carnahan states the rape allegations were not brought to her attention until April despite numerous sources detailing w/ me she had flown back to GA to “clean up the mess."
16/25
Carnahan now claims she had to call the RNC to find out what happened, and that the RNC had no record on hand since a “complaint was not even brought forward” - yet, again we’re told to believe this claim was resolved by someone… and at some point.
17/25
Regarding my live reporting last night on the Emergency Exec. Board meeting, Carnahan also echoed the same sentiments as she did last night regarding press leaks:
“In doing so, this hurts our party, our candidates, and our strong opportunities to win in 2022”.
18/25
Also regarding the meeting, it should be noted that the approved audit last night is an internal one ONLY, and not handled externally, and therefore handled by members of the Executive board. It's unclear if Carnahan would also be included since she is also a member.
19/25
Today it has also been confirmed that there is an attempt to rescind the motion regarding the release of NDAs. Board member Sara Michener stated that at the next meeting she would attempt to rescind the motion regarding the NDAs that was passed just last night.
20/25
The next Executive Board Meeting will be held in person at the MNGOP HQ in Edina this Thursday 6PM.
Sources today tell me there will be a planned protest outside calling for the Chairwoman’s resignation as more Republican leaders and officials call for her to step down.
21/25
Regarding the unhealthy and unprofessional environment of the MNGOP, during my investigation earlier this year a former MNGOP employee told me yet of another alleged sexual assault and rape. For sensitive reasons to protect others...
22/25
..I will not at this time share the perpetrator’s identity.
The source detailed that an MNGOP employee had shared w/ them how after a State Central mtg, her superior, the Executive Director at the time, forced the individual back to his hotel room & allegedly raped her.
23/25
The source shared that sometime after the incident, the perpetrator was allegedly suddenly fired in such a way that the rest of the staff had to be “quarantined away from him until his departure” and given no explanation.
24/25
*There have been countless sudden staff departures from the MNGOP under Carnahan’s tenure.
However, at some point, allegedly Carnahan then hired the individual back as a private vendor and consultant to the MGNOP. This could be corroborated in FEC expenses in...
25/25
... payments to him personally or to the company he works.
Given that I’m aware other victims & witnesses to other alleged behavior are now or plan soon to speak to the press, I will not detail any more for now & instead allow their stories to unfold throughout the week.

Last night, it was evident to me that "Swifties" didn't stay in Minneapolis - they swiftly left and the city immediately went back to its former self of being a ghost town still plagued with public safety issues.
This was the scene downtown "Swiftieapolis" last night before… https://t.co/byiOASSQchtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
I decided to go downtown to "see what all the fuss is about" given all the hype by the city and local media expecting to see more nightlife, but hardly anyone even came to the closed block off 1st Ave for "Warehouse District Live" for inflatable games, food trucks and karaoke...… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
What I did see was homeless people now wander and sleep outside the indoor waiting area for buses next to the library (where they used to go, but is now closed to due crime and drug overdoses). There were also people using drugs on the LRT platforms.
There were reports of an altercation and MPD confirms they are investigating the death as a homicide. Suspect was reported as a BM, medium build, white t-shirt, black pants, red shoes with white bottoms, royal blue blanket around his shoulders. Occurred at 5th and 1st street last… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Saturday night in Minneapolis. Once again, I witnessed several fights and assaults outside the Gay 90s and Augie’s where just the night before three people were shot.
This has been the location of multiple fights, assaults and shootings the last several months downtown.
1/7
While recording one fight, I was caught in mace deployed from police - THEN shots were fired just a few blocks down on Hennepin outside the Saloon.
Other fights broke out that I just didn’t feel safe approaching given how volatile the energy was on the streets.
2/7
The city felt out of control - having just come out the previous night that left 10 people shot within 12 hours...
I almost hadn’t felt this much disorder since the riots; the atmosphere was just incredibly chaotic as other crime broke out in Uptown and Dinkytown.

The parents of Andrew Tekle Sundberg are telling media that the MPD didn't allow any communication with their son.
However, video from a livestream shows Mark Sundberg speaking on the PA system to his son.
"Tekle, this is your dad again. I need you to talk to negotiators."
Police repeatedly asked Tekle to pick up his phone. It's believed MPD never successfully made contact w/ Tekle who at times during the stand off was seen opening the window, looking out during announcements
And if police could not reach him I presume his parents couldn't either.
Tekle's parents cont. to tell media, including in this video tweeted out by Ben Crump, how restrictive Minneapolis police were in allowing them to interact with their son - during an active shooter situation where Tekle had fired off multiple rounds inside w/ residents evacuated
The GoFundMe for shooter Andrew Tekle Sundberg now has over $15K - out raising his victim, a single mother who hid with her two sons in her bedroom as he shot bullets through the walls of her apartment.
Two Minneapolis police snipers shot Sundberg after a multi-hour standoff.
There have been vigils and rallies for Tekle Sundberg since he was killed by police early Thursday morning. Tonight another rally and march was held to 'commemorate' his death.
Arabella Foss-Yarbrough was cooking in her kitchen when bullets started flying through her walls, destroying her apartment. Residents were evacuated and officers had to rescue the mother and her children during the active shooter situation.
