Can't work and can't relax just sitting and compulsively doing nothing

Putting in effort to put in effort, but failing

Once you put a name to the problem, you realize that it isn't just "how you are", but that you've been struggling with a disorder for your entire life and it had taken so much from you.

A lot of people have reached out to ask me why I didn't feature enough (any?) creators of colour in my ADHD video, and I'd put it down to two things:

1. I didn't communicate that that's something I was specifically looking for, therefore perhaps making marginalized people feel as though their submissions would be dismissed.

This is my mistake, and I'll do better in the future.

2. People of colour receive far worse medical care opn average, and thus are less likely to know they have ADHD let alone receive treatment for it.

This is part of why it is crucial to speak openly about ADHD and ADHD struggles.

Feels to me like every system of government (or there lack of) relies on people behaving "correctly", and most charges of utopianism are pure projection.

Aren't you assuming the leaders will just behave themselves without consequences?

And if the people can create consequences for their leaders, aren't you assuming they won't use that power to do whatever they wanted to do without the leaders anyway?

I feel I should make something clear. The point of my video today was not to convince people not to buy from Amazon. I think it's good to buy less things in general, but amazon is a symptom of the larger problem.

Yes amazon is an evil exploitative company, but do you think there's a way to buy the things they sell on amazon WITHOUT exploitation? Do you think buying them from Wal-Mart, or Best Buy is any more moral?

You cannot buy or boycott your way out of capitalism. You are forced to participate in this exploitation no matter what you do.

This is not to say that people should not try to be conscious with what they buy. Obviously some things are worse than others.

In the center is Bob, that crystal on his head is an alien superweapon that allows his clothes to transform into extra body parts.

To the right is Toque, who was small in stature, but was able to grow his head very large. This would let him yell and it'd be super loud. I don't remember why I thought that would be a useful power,
