You really have to wonder what kind of internal numbers OF has on what its revenue looks like without the cut it gets from sex workers’ subscriptions and transactions and how much investment they’d need from the new funders they’re trying to land to cover it
Just seems like a plan that fucks over sex workers in pursuit of (entirely hypothetical!) VC funding for a business model that now seems like its meant to be “what if Cameo but de-personalized”
They’ve already rolled out a free entirely SFW app so that they can finally get on the App Store/Google Play. But to make this announcement before even seeing how much interest there is in that? Seems like a mistake!

Seriously, OnlyFans would have crumbled ages ago if it weren’t for the sex workers on the platform. You think Beyonce would’ve given them a shoutout on the “Savage” remix otherwise? And now a revenue stream for a lot of women (and men!) is going to evaporate for the owners' greed
