📜THESES OF ROOTCAUSE MEDICINE 📜

Medicine is broken. Corporate profit and pill prescription are prioritized over healing.

We desperately need a paradigm shift. This is how.

Thread 🧵👇 Image
#RootCauseMedicine is an attempt to reverse the modern tsunami of chronic disease by addressing and correcting its fundamental dietary and lifestyle root causes.

It is built on the following set of theses...
REGARDING HUMANS

1. Homo sapiens, like all other living organisms, has evolved homeostatic mechanisms that naturally and spontaneously trend toward health in the absence of medical intervention or injurious environmental insult. Image
2. The human organism is a complex system.
The 2nd, 3rd and 4th order effects of novel environmental exposures and medical interventions may be delayed and unseen, with possible cumulative damaging long term effects on health. Image
3. Absence of evidence of harm of a pharmaceutical intervention on an arbitrary time scale does not prove safety, and the burden of proof rests upon those advocating for any intervention that was absent in the multi-million year evolutionary history of Homo sapiens.
4. Human health cannot be separated from biosphere health and the environment that produces human food. Loss of micro-nutrients in the soil results in human micro-nutrient deficiency... ImageImage
...Environmental toxins and synthetic compounds in the food chain may bio-accumulate and contribute to human disease. ImageImage
5. Food is medicine or poison. The quality of food and its degree of chemical contamination launches the individual on a long-term trajectory towards optimal health or chronic disease. ImageImage
6. Environmental mismatch is the root cause of chronic disease. Long term exposure to evolutionarily inconsistent diet (modern processed foods), continuous feeding, inactivity, sunlight deprivation, synthetic chemical ingestion, etc. causes illness. Image
7. Re-creating the evolutionary niche of Homo sapiens with regard evolutionarily consistent environmental exposures and hormetic stressors is the best strategy for achieving and maintaining optimal human physiological function. ImageImage
ON THE PRACTICE OF MEDICINE

8. First Do No Harm. Every decision to treat should be based on the risk of iatrogenic harm, including possibility of long-term, multi- or trans-generational harm. Image
9. Treat the patient, not the number. Lab findings should always be used in a holistic clinical context.
ON THE THEORY OF MEDICINE

10. The scientific method is a continuous processes that necessitates rejecting disproven hypotheses. Failure to do so has stalled the progress of medicine and will continue to obstruct the practice of gold-standard medicine. Image
11. Anecdotes or n-of-1 studies provide immensely powerful epistemological proof-of-concept for physiological effects that can guide probabilistic causal inference, particularly regarding dietary interventions.
...Aggregated effect findings typical of nutritional epidemiological studies lose granularity and external validity for the individual as a patient. They are easily manipulated to further justify population-level treatments that ignore unique patient characteristics...
...Observation and analysis of empiric findings should once again form the basis for dietary recommendations. The vast majority of nutritional epidemiology findings should be discarded and ignored.
ON MEDICINE AND SOCIETY

12. Medical science, and by extension clinical medicine, has been corrupted by the profit-driven corporate interests of the Pharmaceutical and Food Industry.... Image
...Corporate capture of regulatory bodies has resulted in plant consumption and lifelong medication being prioritized over chronic disease reversal as the main strategy of patient care.
13. The majority of doctors act with the best intentions but a principal-agent problem biases towards pill prescription and defensive medicine. Failure of clinicians to critically appraise evidence behind treatment guidelines allows the Pharma to dictate practice...
...leading to sub-optimal patient outcomes and an enormous amount of iatrogenic harm.

Clinicians cannot expect to be absolved of the moral culpability of the iatrogenic harm they have caused through inappropriate prescribing under the excuse of ‘merely following the guidelines'
14. Mitigating iatrogenic harm relies on a favorable incentive system that is best achieved with direct patient-doctor financial exchange of services.

The more parties with a financial stake in the patient-doctor interaction, the more expensive and more sub-optimal the outcome. Image
These are the foundational theses that underlie RootCause Medicine. They serve as a basis upon which the vision of RootCause Medicine will be achieved — the fractal improvement of the human condition at every level, starting with the individual.
A society of individuals expressing their naturally-bestowed gifts of energy, health and vitality is most conducive to the greatest level of human consciousness and is most conducive to multi-generational civilizational flourishing.

Like a child stealthily replacing a half-empty ice cream container back in the freezer, the mainstream medical establishment is increasingly admitting saturated fat does not contribute to heart disease or risk of heart attack... THREAD ImageImage
This review article was recently published, and follows the 2019 Annals of Internal medicine meta-analysis which suggested low to no evidence of red meat contributing to cancer or heart disease.

academic.oup.com/eurjpc/advance…
The truth is there was never any credible scientific evidence linking saturated fat (commonly found in animal foods) with heart disease.

We have a very long way to go before widespread adoption of ancestrally appropriate diet and lifestyle reduces demand for healthcare...
For the foreseeable future, the health of the majority will continue decline with continued consumption of ultra processed foods, protein deficient plant-based diets, and repeated doses of outdated mRNA tech for a circulating cold virus.
There is an ageing population and a boomer generation who have spent the past 2 decades consuming seed oils as their primary fat source, addicted to sugar and carbs and dosed on statins.

What if I told you the reason health care is so expensive, inaccessible, and at times poor quality, is because of a LACK of competition?
Government intervention reduces free market competition, which would otherwise force hospitals, health services & physicians to compete for your business and provide you a better product...

Just like cafes, restaurants, gyms or any other business in the economy.

Another great piece by @MaryanneDemasi

The more you understand, the harder it is to call this anything other than a multi-billion dollar scam orchestrated by Big Pharma and funded by the taxpayer.

@MaryanneDemasi It would almost be funny if it weren't so serious. Recommending the mass injection of young children with genetic material instructing their own cells to make a viral spike protein for no appreciable clinical benefit is a recipe for widespread iatrogenic harm.
@MaryanneDemasi It's a whole new level of grift from Pharma. Seems like they whipped together a steaming pile of 💩for research (under lower EUA burden of evidence) and pulled all the favors with captured govt. bureaucrats to get their product passed off as 'safe and effective'. Diabolical.
