We should be frank and abundantly clear.

A set of TERFs under @millar_marion 's guidance and leadership went to @DoctorsBar specifically to try and escalate the violence inherent in their hate movement.

They have attempted to escalate from the ongoing discrimination to violence

They, like most fascist movements, try to hide their overt bigotry behind a veil of "defending" an imagined community, with appeals to tradition and indeed a cult thereof. They suggest invisible conspiracies and engage in campaigns of anti intellectualism.

When I term them fash—

— I'm not being hyperbolic. There are startling overlaps between so called Gender Critical beliefs and the antisemitism inherent in Nazi ideology. Both literally — @HJoyceGender and @bindelj have expressed such in their work— and metaphorically, where the way TERFs discuss trans—

—And indeed other queer people is remarkably similar to how, for example, Richard Spencer talks about Jewish people.

But more importantly, the fascistic movement of the trans exclusionary is predicated on the genocide of transgender people through, as Janice Raymond has stated,—

"Morally mandating" us out of existence, both through limiting education around trans people (advocating a return to section 28 in the UK), and through limiting medical access. This alongside the false claim of "sex based" rights or spaces leads the movement toward genocidal aims

Now so far I have not made a value judgement. I've laid out the facts as they stand. There's only a few facts, but they are well sourced. You can follow them up if you so desire

It's important that you note that these statements are without condemnation, just the express beliefs

Because the condemnation starts now.

Transphobic policies are morally bankrupt, and the advocates of them are at absolute best horrendously misled through following bigoted opinions. Most advocates of transphobia are not misled, and are instead openly hateful in word and deed.

There is no rhyme nor reason for their bigotry, there is no considered argument. They advocate for the genocide of people, and in so doing are frankly evil. Some form ringleaders, some are followers, but "just following orders" lost its appeal when the Nazis attacked us last time

Of particular note are the actions of bigots like @jk_rowling , @BlanchardPhD , or @MForstater who have operated at best and with the kindest possible understanding of their behaviour, as useful idiots to the overwhelmingly misogynist and fascistic movement against trans people.

There is no coincidence that the reactionary backlash to transgender people emerged following the passage of gay marriage and abortion rights in a flurry prior to the beginning of the most reactionary period in recent memory. The bigots moved on, and moved their money with them.

So when the absolute scum like @ALLIANCELGB come to people like me and claim they're defending the rights of gay, lesbian, and bisexual people, you can tell them they are not. None of their actions further gay rights, instead they drive a wedge to try and fragment our community

Without solidarity the gains made by queer people

Will be taken away, they'll return to the fold and the harms will be exponential in our community.

TERFs, I am asking you as kindly as I can: stand the whole hell down. Your movement is an evil one.

Allies, do me a favour and spread this around. I'm sick of TERFs dominating the discourse and it's past time they didn't.

Trans people: you're amazing and I love you. Thank you for being who you are and living your God damn truth in defiance of impossible odds.
