(North Norfolk hit 50% today)
Altona - 49.6% (no change)
Hanover - 45.6% (+0.1%)
Winkler - 38.5% (+0.2%)
Stanley - 22% (no change)
Roussin won't hint at what is coming in tomorrow's announcement.

Said might be something on public health restrictions.
Roussin says it should be expected going forward, when it comes to large sporting events, being fully vaccinated will be required.

Asked about Brandon Wheat Kings.
Delta modelling could be coming by the end of this week.
Roussin says concerning numbers in southern health, including riusing cases, TP rates, and contacts per case.

In some cases, none of the contacts are vaccinated.
Roussin has said a few times now that a fourth wave will be dominated by unvaccinated cases. Says it's coming, as they are already seeing it in other jurisdictions.
Roussin asked about Doctors Manitoba ask to mandate vaccines for health-care workers, as well as public and private sector employees...

Says he urges people to get vaccinated. Says low uptake places could be shut down if a large outbreak occures.
Roussin says masks only part of the solution, and should be focus.

Focus needs to be on vaccine, and staying home when ill.
Roussin says a number of things at play when it comes to mandating vaccine for public sector.

(This was a rumbling last week, but appears to have been delayed)
The number of people who are not being recommended getting the vaccine is very small, officials say.
Roussin on mandating HCWs getting fully vaccinated, says more to come on that.
Roussin on vaccinated cases vs. unvaccinated cases, says need to be careful of the denominator.

the protection comes agianst severe disease, and less likely to transmit the virus.
Roussin on no spike following #Bombers home opener:

"I don't think we need any more proof of vaccine effectiveness."

Says they haven't seen a significant result from the game.
Presser over.

Premier Brian Pallister begins presser by saying that vaccines are our way out of this pandemic... how we get our lives back
Here's the news:

Government will require all provincial employees who work with vulnerable populations to be fully immunized for COVID-19 by Oct. 31, or undergo regular testing, to protect Manitoba against a fourth COVID-19 wave
And more:

The province will put indoor mask requirements in place across Manitoba in the coming days, including in schools, and will expand the list of activities and services that can only be accessed if an individual is fully immunized.

The province has updated its breakthrough infection data by adding which vaccine had a breakthrough case.
Until we have the breakdown of how many Manitobans have each vaccine, hard to draw conclusions on effectiveness of each. For example, AZ number is low, but the number of AZ fully vaxxed is also low.
Biggest thing continues to be the low number of hospitalizations among the fully vaxxed.

To help reduce barriers and support more vaccine uptake, the province hold walk-ins at every supersite on July 14.

More than 20,000 doses available, including around 8,000 earmarked for 12-17-year-olds.

Both vaccines available at each site.
Province says they need about 33,000 more first doses and about 100,000 seconds doses to reach Labour Day targets.

Province says this is in addition to the 180,000 appointments currently booked.

(Confirms they use data based on appointments booked)
And the big one:

New public health orders are expected next week.

Vaccine briefing notes show 230,000 Moderna doses coming this week. That is way up from the 51,200 confirmed in last week's update.

This is the first week of the Pfizer slowdown, which will be made up for in the final two weeks of this month.
The vaccine delivery forecast now includes August and has zeroes across the board for all vaccines. That's not surprising.
219,267 doses were administered last week.

145,573+ scheduled for this week (Pfizer slowdown week 1)

132,497+ scheduled for next week (Pfizer slowdown week 2)
