1 @Vulcanforged
and its 50+ staff created a fully functional working gaming platform and play2earn economy, it holds multiple games and can support many new.
Tied to this gaming platform is a cross-chain NFT marketplace.
Their main game is a massive online multiplayer game..

.. but they already have 10+ games live in total. They are also a game studio, and a launchpad for games that want to get onto blockchain and NFTs.
Newest addition is Vulcandex; A *cross chain* dex like uniswap but specifically for gaming tokens and NFT’s..

They are also finishing the build of Agora, a crosschain Art NFT marketplace similar to Opensea.

And guess what? Everything uses $PYR in one way or another.

2. Ambition
Their ambition is to become THE blockchain NFT gaming studio, and with VulcanVerse their aim is to create the next World of Warcraft/Minecraft making use of blockchain. Big ambitions and during the year I have been following them they've only become bigger.

3 Competitors
Gaming is a hot topic and a crowded space. Still, Vulcan sets itself apart. Some competitors are $ALICE (290m), $SAND (520m), $MANA (1,12B), $ENJ (1.6b), $WAX (468m) $UFO (110m). I included their market cap in brackets.

But are they really competitors? Half of the other tokens only deliver a PART of what Vulcanforged is delivering, and the other half is still in early development stage. Vulcanforged is the..

.. combination of the gaming platform, the NFT marketplaces, a DEX, and a massively cool MMORPG.
The current market cap is $80 MILLION with most of functionalities live. This is quite insane when you look at these fundamentals.. And these 50 ppl work fast, dev delivery is insane.

4 What is VulcanVerse
VulcanVerse is their main game open-world divided in 10.000 land plots and a central VulcanCity where you can build your world and interact in Greek-Roman fantasy style.

The whole story is written and designed by fighting fantasy authors (who actually have written fantasy books before), and the first VulcanVerse roleplaying books are now available at Barnes and Noble! Game-music from Gorillaz and U.N.K.L.E.

Currently, to play you need a piece of land (#NFT). Important to note this will change soon. Renting will be enabled through smart contracts. However you need to have a certain XP level to earn $LAVA. For players that do not have this, certain land plots can be used as portals.

Every user who logs into the portal will then cause a $LAVA deposit to the land owner who grants his plot for this use. This way, the amount of players can theoretically be infinite and it will be very profitable for land owners.

$PYR can also be staked onto the land to level it up. This means that you get more rewards (staking income) but also the higher level the land the nicer stuff you can build on top of it. You are free to choose the builds and terra morph the land, as long as it fits the level.

5 Why is it flying under the radar
The hashtag used by the team is #UtilityNoHype. They want to build a great product first before all the gamers and investors flock to $PYR.
In private sale they have given priority to the community where you had to have a special OG NFT badge..

..to be able to buy. This was smart because this community was in it for the game, as $PYR was not even within the plan yet back then! No VCs, no big CT accounts shilling it and dumping after listing.

They have a marketing campaign ready with youtube gaming influencers with in total >30m followers, its waiting for dev to finish vital functionalities to support it when the herd comes in.

6 $PYR
Now that the games and marketplace are all working, they have initiated to make it a full blown play-to-earn economy.
The token driving this will be $PYR (greek for fire). You can earn it by playing games, you can use it for trading discounts..

..you can earn it by staking, there are more than 50 ways to earn PYR and the number is growing.
Both $PYR private as public tokensale was over, oversubscribed.

7. $LAVA
$LAVA has been introduced to reward players, it has similarities to $SLP at $AXS. It is on chain and can therefore be traded.
If you are staking your $PYR in the official Vulcanforged gaming wallet you also receive $LAVA.

8 Crosschain NFT Marketplace
All in-game playing cards and wannahaves are minted as NFT’s and are tradable on the marketplace. For instance, 10.000 VulcanVerse plots of land have been sold at initial price of $100, they are worth $2k+ now.

Beware, in Decentraland there are 44.000 plots and these go for $5k each. A second NFT marketplace specifically for Art, like @opensea, will be opening very soon. To buy, you need $PYR, and fees are also in $PYR and go back to the people that stake.

9 VulcanDex
This is a new DEX specifically for trading gaming tokens and NFT’s. It’s being build cross chain on @binancechain, @0xpolygon and @ethereum.
It will include gaming token liquidity pools, #NFT farming, insane $PYR APYs, gamified pooling, leaderboards. $ETH $MATIC $BNB

10 VulcanCon
Just like Comic Con the first series of Vulcan Con has already been announced! In October, in Amsterdam the Netherlands, the first official Vulcan Con will take place. Dress like a Vulcanite, signed copies of game books, merchandise, authors speaking and much more

11 @VulcanForged Grant program
Vulcan aims to bring blockchain-based games and Dapps to the ecosystem by an open invitation for up to 50 development teams/companies. Teams enjoy marketing and support, while a $40.000 dev grant will be given. A $2.000.000 Vulcan Game Launchpad!

12 Berserk
Another increasingly popular game made by @vulcanforged is Berserk. It is very similar to @Hearthstone, except you earn $LAVA and can play with the NFT playing cards you choose or even buy. There are massive tournament seasons with divided prizes of $100k worth.

13 Frazetta
@Vulcanforged got into a fantastic partnership with @frazettagirls . They control the IP rights of Frank Frazetta, one of the most iconic comic art illustrators. Together they created a new 1/1 NFT version of the famous Death Dealer...

..which will also be a Vulcanite in @vulcanverse. There are also 30 playing cards of the Death Dealer issued. Also the Egyptian Princess will come to Vulcanverse in the future.
