Oh man, @maddow highlighting the warnings against using Ivermetin to treat #covid because so many people in red states are swallowing horse deworming meds. Vaccines are free. You usually don’t end up in the hospital. Look at the side effects:
via @nytimes I see former presidents marking this sad day. Except for one. He is prepping play by play for a boxing match. nytimes.com/live/2021/09/1…
The sadness is palpable. Family members holding pictures of their loved ones murdered this day 20 years ago. The reading of the names of the victims is how we honor their memories.
#IndictmentThursday is tomorrow. The Manhattan district attorney's office plans to charge the Trump Organization and its chief bookkeeper with tax-related crimes on Thursday, The Wall Street Journal reported.
No fake tan, no hair and make up. No indictment expected against the monster.
Allen Weisselberg who knows every dime in and out since the days Fred ran Trump Org is still going to work at Trump Tower, clearly loyal to a monster who is holding who knows what over his head?
President Biden says “such a verdict is much too rare. He cited “a brave young woman with a cell phone camera, a murder that happened for almost 10 minutes in broad daylight.”
Biden says people of color should not have to “wake up knowing that they can lose their very life in the course of just living their life.” He is urging meaningful police reform legislation in George Floyd’s name to be made into law as quickly as possible after one whole year.
President Biden spoke to the Floyd family today after the verdict. He told George Floyd’s young daughter Gianna, “Daddy did change the world.”
The charges/the verdicts in the Chauvin case:

How many other 19 year old white boys with “suicide by cop” ideation are out there getting past red flag laws, ready to copy cat what just happened in Indianapolis?
Reading about the victims. Crying. Matthew Alexander, 32, was an enthusiastic sports fan who enjoyed driving around the Midwest attending baseball and hockey games and collecting baseball cards and bobblehead nytimes.com/live/2021/04/1…
Samaria Blackwell, 19, was the youngest of four siblings. She played soccer and basketball and was a lifeguard for the city parks.
.@RepRaskin opens the 2nd day of Trump’s 2nd impeachment trial. He says “The Senate is sitting as a court of impeachment on the facts.” He is disparaging Trump’s lawyers’ defense that Trump was an innocent bystander. “The evidence will show that Trump was the incited in chief.”
Impeachment managers will be issuing warnings about the graphic nature of some of the videos that will be shown as evidence. Especially for teachers screening this historic hearing. Raskin refers to 1/6 as “A day that will live in disgrace”. He decried “insurrectionary justice.”
A most haunting line from Jamie Raskin’s opening marks, after he made a solid analogy about Trump being like a fire chief who helped ignite the fire, is this phrase referring to January 6: “a kaleidoscope of sadness and terror and violence.”
