California is proof of how uninformed most voters are. The fires, the lack of water, the homelessness, the poor education, the crime, the bad roads, the high cost of living, high taxes, high fuel prices compared to other states, etc , etc are all directly linked to Democrats

Homes are super expensive because there is a lack of supply because regulations are so prohibitive that it makes it hard for builders to be profitable. In cases where they get past the red tape, it still takes forever to get a project up .

Education sucks because the teachers unions in California are the defacto rulers of the state. California Democrats are controlled by them . It is all about appeasing them and good Education results are not needed .

The wild fires are a direct result of poor forest management .

The water shortage is a result of environmentalists forcing us to dump millions of gallons of fresh water coming from the north into the ocean and also lack of investment into water storage.

The homeless problem is from policies that give people benefits that causes homeless people from all over the country to migrate here cause they get free money, can do as they please and its legal to loiter everywhere.

I also think that the homeless crisis is a grift for Sacramento politicians. We supposedly spend over 40k per year per homeless person. Where TF does all that money go ? Someone is siphoning it off somewhere .

The high crime in places like Oakland and Los Angeles is a direct result of defunding the police and neutering them and not allowing them to do their jobs

Don't get me started about the bad roads. I was in Florida last month and OMG the roads there compared to ours was night and day. We always have road work being done but the streets never get fixed. Yet we pay a sh*t ton of taxes for " Roads "

Literally highway robbery!

The 5 dollar per gallon gas ? Yes gas prices are rising nationwide but we pay well over a dollar more than everyone else and that is due to crazy fuel taxes

Our sales tax is anywhere from 7% to 10% depending on the counties.

Our Vehicle registration fees are well over 100 dollars for a smaller older car and over 200 per year for newer cars .

This thread could be endless to point out how all the things you hate about California are the direct result of Democrat one party rule . It is time for change and it begins by recalling Gavin Newsom! Vote Yes ! Then in 2022 we fire the incompetent legislators !
