Who is the resident Within the Hearts of all Creatures,
Janardana,
The Bhagavān who takes away the pangs of Birth & Death,
Đ Eternal,
Đ Immortal,
& Đ One Without Birth,
Chose to be Born as the son of Devaki & Vasudeva.
अथ सर्वगुणोपेतः कालः परमशोभनः।
"It was the most auspicious
and favourable time."
दिशः प्रसेदुर्गगनं निर्मलोडुगणोदयम्।
"The sky was immaculate."
The time was approaching midnight,
&
many jewels sprouted in the bowels of Earth,
नद्यः प्रसन्नसलिला।
"All the rivers flowed with Clean & Clear water."
all the birds woke Up & Started
crooning softly.
Đ Sun & Moon peeped out with their full compliment of stars, among which the star Rohini was the Brightest.
Rohini heralded the Birth of the Bhagavān.
Đ Creator Brahma & the other celestials entered the labor room
& Hymned the Bhagavān,
Whom they could see
shining Within Devaki's Womb.
The Yogis & the Devas showered the flowers from above🙏
अहो नृलोकस्य विडम्बनं हि तत्।
“Mother, do you know why I have shown you this Form of Mine? Because in your earlier Life,
You were Pṛshni & Vasudeva was Sutapā.
You both had done Penance to
Attain me.
O lucky parents!
What tortures would one not go through to have a sight like this? Lotus-eyed,
Four-armed,
Sporting the Conch,
Mace,
& other Weapons,
With the Luminous Shrivatsa mark &
the shining jewel Kaustubha on His Chest.
Wearing a Yellow Garment,
Possessed of the Majesty & grace of a rain cloud,
locks Gleaming with the luster of his diadem,
earrings studded with precious gems,
& bedecked with splendid ornaments :
such was the Wondrous Form of the Divine
child that appeared before them.
Realizing the child to be None other than Hari,
Đ Supreme Being, Vasudeva Prostrated himself before him.
He gazed into those Glorious eyes, which were overflowing with Love, &
felt such waves of bliss washing over him.
Again & again, He Prostrated before this Vision,
knowing him to be indeed that formless Brâhman extolled in the Vedas,
Which had taken on the Form of his Son.
Then Devaki exclaimed, “You are verily Vishnu,
Đ Light Spiritual,
Đ Unmanifest,
Đ Vast,
Đ Luminous🙏

Hidden in the Mass of Rock,

Visible Only to the Transcending Vision of the Sculptor,
is the Graceful Form of the Sculptor’s Creation.
Only an Artist can Bring this Hidden Beauty Out of a Common Piece of Rock.

He has the Subtle Intuition to see the Glory & Perfection of the Form Within.
At last it is Done.
Đ Finished Product Emerges in all its Perfection.
The Artist has added Nothing of his Own to Bring about or Heighten the Beauty.
Đ Beauty was always Throbbing in the Secret Womb
of the Rock.
The Sculptor Only Released it from the Encircling Mass of Formless Rock.
Similarly,
Man does Not Realise how Gross he looks as he lives his Worldly Life,
His eyes Ever-ready to Overflow with Tears from the Smart of Suffering.
His Brow is Ploughed with Discontent &
Brahmacarya is Not only the control of the Sex Impulses,
But is also the Practice of Self-control in all Avenues of
Sense Impulses
&
Sense Satisfactions.

Unless the Seeker has built up a perfect Cage of Intelligent Self-control,
Đ entire World of Objects will flood his Bosom to Bring therein a State of Unending Chaos.
A Mind thus agitated by the Inflow of Sense stimuli is a Mind that is completely Dissipated & Ruined.
Đ Physical Body longs for Contact with the World of Objects in order to Gain Sense Gratification.
When We Continue to live Only for the Gratification of Our Sensual Demands,
Passions Multiply & Ultimately Consume Us.

Sōpānaṁ 40 : Śrī Kālahasti, Śeshagiri & Kāñchipuram
Acharya & the group resumed their journey & passing through different lands, They reached Śrī Kālahasti, The Mandirā with the element Air as the Liṅga.
After worshipping the Bhagavān & Devi at Kālahasti, the group proceeded towards Śeshagiri.
The mountain ranges here resemble ĀdiŚeṣa in a reclining Posture.
The Murti in the Mandirā known variously as Saptagirisha, Venkateshwara,
& the Bhagavān on the banks of Pushkarini,
has been worshipped as Shiva, Vishnu, Devi & Kartikeya at various times in History.
Whatever it may be, everyone felt that Bhagavān Venkaṭāchalapati, residing in the expansive mountain ranges, had a
Divine,
Celestial & Incomparable Splendour.
You know,
Bhagavān Śrī Krishna had created His own little company of thieves in Gokul &
He was their Leader.
Who else was in this crew?
At least One child from each home.
Thus,
every home in Gokul was represented in this special gang of thieves.❤️

Now, think.
When they went to Steal from any home in Gokul,
The Child from that home was also in this gang,
so how can it be called theft?
Whenever they would gather to lay out their plans,
One of them would Happily say,
“Let us go to my home today!”
Yet all the Gopīs would go only to Yashodā-jī & file fabricated complaints.
They did this, of course,
just to have an excuse to see the Bhagavān.
They thought if they went & complained to her, she would surely call Him to reprimand Him,
आब्रह्मस्तम्बपर्यन्ते भूतग्रामे चतुर्विधे।
विज्ञस्यैव हि सामर्थ्य मिच्छानिच्छाविवर्जने॥
"Of the 4 categories of Existence, from Brahmā down to a Grass Blade,
It is the Wise One alone who has the capacity to renounce Desires & Aversions.

According to the Upaniṣads,
Đ Total World of beings Dwelling in the Surface of this Globe, Falls under 4 Types :
~Jarāyuja or Garbhaja: Those that are Born from the Womb;
~Aṇḍaja: Those that are Born from Eggs;
~Svedaja: Those that are Born from Warm vapour or Sweat;
&
~Udbhijja: Those that are Born of Seeds or Sprouting Up.
All these together indicate the entire World of beings that exists here amidst Us.
In order to Indicate the Entire Cosmos,
Janaka Amplifies his Statement & Says,
"From the Creator down to a Grass Blade".
