BREAKING: We have received a letter today from the Scottish Census authority (NRS) confirming they will be issuing sex question guidance based on self-ID. /1
“If you are transgender the answer can be different to what is on your birth certificate. You do not need a GRC” /2

scotlandscensus.gov.uk/documents/scot…
Census law is very clear. Sex cannot be self-identified. NRS does not have the power to make up its own definition of what someone’s sex is /3
The ONS found this out the hard way in court and the tax payer footed the bill. It is beyond belief that the NRS is ignoring the law and pushing on with their plans regardless /4
This is the Consent Order sealed by the High court in which the UK Stat Authority confirms that sex is recorded on a birth certificate or GRC. The 1920 legislation applies across the whole of the UK. /5
The Scottish Regulations do not meaningful differ from the England and Wales Regulations. The law is clear. NRS will be breaking it if they proceed with these plans /6
In April 2021 we wrote to the head of NRS offering our expertise and experience on this matter to ensure NRS didn't follow the same mistakes as ONS. NRS appear intent on stubbornly copying them /7

The NRS officials aren't risking their money with this unlawful position. They are risking yours. The tax payer. /8

Dr Nicola Williams was interviewed by the @Daily_Express about the Scotland's intention to force through sex self-ID with GRA reform /1

"this isn't just something that is happening in Scotland that people in the rest of the UK don't need to think about."

express.co.uk/news/politics/…
There are about 1000 Scottish prisoners currently in prison in England and Wales, 200 of whom are sex offenders. They will all be free to change their birth certificate to female and transfer to women's prisons. Read more here /2

Listen to this short clip of Dr Nicola Williams on @TimesRadio Drive show on Monday. Falsely accused of 'misgendering' on the radio.

"In terms of politeness, to repeatedly refer to her as 'he' isn't the most polite thing to do on the radio is it" /1

fairplayforwomen.com/wp-content/upl…
@TimesRadio For anyone who follows us you'll know that Dr Williams always uses preferred pronouns when referring to people who identify as transgender. (listen to the full interview if you don't believe it) /2

fairplayforwomen.com/wp-content/upl…
@TimesRadio NW reply "I've not referred to Laurel as 'he' but I am talking about Laurel's sex which is male".

If we are chastised by using clear language about sex how can we explain our concerns?

Gender identity can be respected while still be clear that a transwoman's sex is male /3

Spot on again @VictoriaPeckham

"How has Hubbard even qualified for the Olympics? At 43, she is 20 years older than the field. Men half Hubbard’s 20-stone bulk can lift bigger weights. Yet she counts among the strongest women in the world" /1

thetimes.co.uk/article/1f46e2…
@VictoriaPeckham Like @FondOfBeetles says: When rules permit a medal challenge by a 43 year old male who has taken a 20 year career break and is over 15 years older than the competition, the rules are wrong.

Read the facts ahead of Monday's the super heavy-weight comp /2

@VictoriaPeckham @FondOfBeetles "Samoa shows another way. Embrace gender expression but don’t override sex. Instead of insisting women budge up and lose out, why not make male sports an open category? Insist men “be kind” for once".

Yes - men don't need a protected category - only women do. /3

More from IOC's medical director Richard Budgett.

"Budgett accepted that the 2015 guidelines were no longer backed by science. “I absolutely accept that, things move on”

Science 'moved on over 18 months ago' so why didn't the IOC respond then? /1

theguardian.com/sport/2021/jul…
"it depends on whether you are coming from the view of inclusion as the first priority or absolute fairness to the nth degree being priority”

In 2015 'inclusion' was clearly considered the first priority. Three women have been EXCLUDED because of it /2

“If you are prepared to extrapolate from evidence, & consider the fact the have been no openly transgender women at the top level until now, I think the threat to women’s sport has probably been overstated.”

This is the FIRST Olympic cycle & we have THREE world class entries /3

Last year the BBC breached its own guidelines on suicide. Many complained and got brushed off. 7 months later, perseverance and determination paid off, and the head of complaints has now admitted the BBC failed and cut out huge chunks from the article /1

Here's the original article authored by disgraced LGBT correspondent Ben Hunte. He's now no longer in post and has moved elsewhere within the BBC /2

web.archive.org/web/2020122209…
Here's the new version. Ben Hunte's name gone. Gone too outrageous and unsubstantiated claims by Adrian Harrop, Helen Webberley (Gender GP) and an anonymous clinician all saying the Bell ruling will lead to suicide of children /3

This is why women's sport is in a mess. The IOC's own medical and science director can't even admit the basics that male puberty provides a performance advantage in strength sports! /1

theguardian.com/sport/2021/jul…
“There are lots of aspects of physiology and anatomy, and the mental side, that contribute to an elite performance, and it’s very difficult to say, ‘yes, she has an advantage because she went through male puberty,’ when there’s so many other factors to take into account” /2
Why does the Olympics even have any female categories then? Why are males and females separated in the first place? What does the IOC think the key distinction even is?!

Gender ideology students might be forgiven for such ignorance. The IOC cannot. /3
