Your salary doesn't matter. Any raise you get likely won't outpace inflation, and even if it does, the unit of account is wrong because fiat currency is fundamentally worthless. Ownership is all that matters.
No equity = No work
Equity is a win-win situation for both employer and employee.
The employee becomes vested in the success of the company and the company prospers as a result.
This can be done at every level of employment too. No reason not to hook Walmart Greeters up with some Walmart stock.
If people were smart, and they're not, they'd be campaigning for equity, profit-sharing plans, and other related benefits instead of a higher minimum wage.
Minimum wage is a race to the bottom whereas everyone can benefit from ownership and its associated incentives.
Ideally, you'd scale this to a local level where communities like a neighborhood or apartment block have their own trusts residents are awarded shares of in exchange for prosocial behavior.

It's hard not to empathize with all the confusion about "gender" these days. Everyone goes through a phase when you're young and don't feel like you are who you are.
But pharma companies and Internet freaks are preying on minors in these situations and taking advantage of it.
I was a good student in school, quiet, didn't care for sport. Most boys were the opposite. Without male role models, you start to identify with girls more who shared such traits.
Hate to think how things could have gone differently had I been a victim of these twisted people.
What helped was ironically sports. Come high school, I made it on to a team, experienced the camaraderie you only find when a group of guys undergo tests of strength and skill, and grew into a man.
All of the games people think have "deep" lore are just reheated casseroles of various bits of the Old and New Testaments.
These games just happen to be the first time they've encountered such stories because our education system is a failure and people don't read anymore.
"The Logos is the Word of God."
"The protagonist in Shadow of the Colossus wields a (s)word which divides the light from the darkness."
Just like children put ketchup on everything to make food palatable, the modern man needs video games to tell him things that he should have read or been taught.
On a long enough timeline, everything becomes Software as a Service (SaaS).
Why go through the trouble of acquiring new customers for your product when you can sell your existing customers access to the same product month after month?
My favorite SaaS are those hostageware "no code" website builders that make you pay a monthly fee for your website's continued existence.
I used to work for a company like this and could never explain to clients why they were paying hundreds of dollars per month for a website.
The Priest and Merchant castes have and always will continue to dab on the Laborer and Warrior castes.
Do with this information what you will.
Every soul--and there are a fixed quantity of souls--is assigned a caste. If you are lucky enough to have a soul, it belongs to one of these four immutable archetypes: Priest, Warrior, Merchant, Laborer in order of rarity.
Statistically, you are either a Laborer or a Merchant.
Sports and post-apocalyptic/WROL pop culture are Laborer and Warrior empowerment fantasies created by Merchants and Priests to keep them occupied while they take their money and slack off.
Automation is getting to the point where the former two castes can be replaced entirely.
