She answered nervously that more like 10x, 100x, 1000x it's UNLIMITED ACTUALLY.
WE CAN'T GRASP HOW BIG!
4/ D. Def not a fangirl but so far she believed in Elon, Tesla and $TSLA. Her mom put entire retirement on it at $43 based on her advice (long story)
But that was on Cars, Robotaxis and Energy, which she now sees as "pocket change"😯
She's SELLING HARD ASSETS to buy $TSLA!

6/ E. Gamechanger is that Tesla is ADAMANT on being largest AI company and solving GENERAL intelligence.
They will take a large % of the best "AI designers". Not all, she'll survive as will most others but Tesla will be far ahead bc of 2 things
7/ Far ahead bc pulling the best humanpower but also bc they are LASER FOCUSED and COMMITTED
She says it's like Waymo or Blue Origin dawdling while Tesla and SpaceX DELIVER!
Focus and commitment now driving the best team, is unbeatable
8/ F. Told me to thank those who offered her to join Tesla or go open a "lawn care business" (seriously someone said that here😯)
She won't be joining Tesla if she can help it, bc we need Tesla to have competitors. Not just in cars, in everything
9/ Apple became a tax on internet bc it has some monopoly. Without Android it would be worse
More so with Tesla bc it could be TOTALITARIAN, covering all aspects of life. It needs competitors on everything
She trusts Musk, but he could change, + who knows who will succeed him

Depends on HOW FAST AI moves RELATIVE TO MECHATRONICS , but she sees prototypes starting on specific tasks in factory, then other tasks
Worker bot will come long before GP walk-your-dog, buy groceries and cook bot
11/ That alone should be a HUGE BUSINESS. Every factory would pay more than current factory workforce expenses (much higher than salaries) for these
Economy will grow considerably

She sees INFINITE growth for Tesla. Just a matter of WHEN it zooms up the exponent, NOT a matter of "to what level" bc THERE WILL BE NO LIMIT. At least not like any limit we know
She sees AI Day as "ABSOLIUTELY FUCKING BRILLIANT"
15/ Not bc of the tech itself, which is advanced but not unheard of (for example, her company also works directly in vector space) but bc of its move to pull the greatest AI designers and the ambition to become the world's leading AI company, solver of AI
16/ Tesla was a magnet for talent before AI day, but others like her have magnets too
Now Tesla "made their magnet denser" and there's "a risk of it becoming a black hole"
Buying $TSLA is a hedge for her, but she also needs to "10x, NO... 100x" HER plans if she wants to succeed

I already knew previous "cars, Robotaxis and energy" models are outdated and should be replaced, but had no idea how much
Got a lot to chew on, for example, how much competition will Tesla have, but MOSTLY how much can I risk
18/ Meaning, how much can I go on margin and loans to buy this option on future growth, without suddenly needing the money a few years down the road.
Gotta think deeper on this, but gotta work now

My favorite professor during my undergraduate studies in Aerospace-Engineering was an extremely old Serbian gentleman who taught us 1st year Physics (Electricity).
He seemed a million years old. From another era. 1/
2/ 90% of the students enrolled to another professor - a young hotshot that wrote a textbook on the topic and taught how to pass the exam.
They said the oldtimer "wasted time telling stories".
My friend and I stayed with the old professor exactly for these stories.

We all wonder how Plaid can do back to back crazy-acceleration runs without overheating, while still using 18650s bc Tesla wouldn't throw away exiting line when batt constrained.
So here's a moonshot. What if exiting line was modified for tabless?

2/ Mostly, you'd just need different capping and slightly narrower separator (so edges stick out for folding)
This enables utilizing legacy line while lowering resistance - greater range, less heating problem, faster discharging and charging
3/ THEORETICALLY (1st principles) it could be possible to move to plate heating (like 4680 pack) and ditch legacy cooling passages. This would enable crazy range if you want, lighter and cheaper pack. Batteries could be structural to some extent.
