Here's the sculpture in Ponderosa Park, Sheffield, that was destroyed by arsonists on August 21, but remains unmentioned and unlamented by any of the usual defenders of public statuary.
What this shows is that they don't give a damn about the protection of public monuments, but seek only to leverage the issue to wage a culture war against those who challenge existing power structures.
