Sources : New twist in the #KodanaduHeist case. Ravi @ Anubhav Ravi who had approached the Madras HC against the further investigation taken up by Tamil Nadu police now raises a new ground in his SLP in Supreme Court. 1/n

He says, the further investigation is being conducted to implicate either O.Panneerselvam or Edappadi Palanisamy. The grounds for his suggestion is a video shot by Sanghi journalist Rangaraj Pandey who runs an YouTube channel named Chanakya. 2/n

This shows the desperation of EPS who has not only roped in the name of OPS but also relies on Rangaraj Pandey’s video & this has been added as a ground in the SLP.

Sources : One Priyadarshan, a member of BJP from Chengalpattu, against resigned BJP TN Genl Secretary KT Raghavan that Raghavan has taken away his wife Priya (name changed). He says, in 2020, he joined BJP due to the instigation of KT Raghavan. 1/4

After that, Raghavan continued to have obscene conversations with his wife.

On 18.02.2020, an FIR was registered against Priyadarashan. Subsequently, he could not meet his wife even once. If he attempts to meet his wife, one Thirumaran, 2/4

TN CB CID comes under scathing remarks by the Madras High Court. In the court monitored NEET admission scam, the CB CID was conducting the probe. R.Gunhavarman, DSP, Organised Crime II was nominated as Principal I.O and he filed a status report. 1/n

While several private medical colleges have filled up the 50% govt quota in PG Medical Colleges, Gunahvarman, in his report has stated that none of the students have paid any excess fee & paid only the fee fixed by govt (!!!!). 2/n

This includes the notorious Muthukumaran College, which is functioning on a forged CMDA approval. The management is facing two criminal cases in CCB.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the report, the court made the following observations : 3/n

In the judgment on OBC reservation today, the Madras HC laments that…

Till caste discrimination exists, reservation should continue. Even in 2021, to become a simple temple priest, a non-brahmin has to wait from 1939 since the demand arose.

Madras HC says that there is no purpose in holding trial against Senthil Balaji in the job racket scam in which more than 800 crores are involved.

Hon’ble Justice Nirmal Kumar says, “The case is still at the stage of trial. By passage of time, 1/n

the parties have decided to bury their hatchet and compromised the dispute amicably among themselves. This Court enquired both the parties and is satisfied that the parties have come to an amicable settlement between themselves. 2/n

In view of the above, no useful purpose would be achieved by keeping the above case pending.”

Why is the court so keen in ‘enquiring both the parties and ensuring that they have come to an amicable settlement’
