Hear me out: "Footloose" but a kid from a free red state who moves to a blue extremist lockdown state, and he has to teach his stunted, conformist new classmates how to have fun again.
He also deprograms all the brainwashed "bi" and "gender fluid" girls with his powerful masculine boy energy, and they realize they are actually normal straight chicks.
He hacks into the school's computer and changes everyone's pronouns back to normal.
When his new girlfriend's dad, the Mayor, finds out his daughter isn't wearing her mask at the unauthorized prom, he sends his security to arrest our hero.
The prom kids storm the school, tear down the rainbow and BLM flags, and then protest at the jail. They demand his freedom. They remind their parents that it used to be cool to rebel, to burn draft cards. The kids burn their masks and vax passports.
One at at time, the parents rip off their own masks, joining the kids in the town's revolt.
People start throwing everything into the bonfire: Biden Harris pins, "In This House We Believe" signs, CRT history textbooks, Lizzo albums. Two years of lies goes up in smoke. The townspeople weep and hug.
Inside the jail, our hero smiles as he watches it all on a livestream. The other prisoners (gym owners who didn't enforce masks, moms who didnt vax their kids) cheer.
Then the jail catches on fire.
Diversity hire firefighters are unable to carry the heavy hoses to the roof of the jail. Luckily, the hero had put the high school boys on a soyfree diet and got them into lifting. Feeling their chad oats, the boys take over the fire truck and get to work saving their friend.
But -- the villain (evil head of the school board) sees a way to finally get rid of this kid, who's been a thorn in his side.
Before he/her/they can carry out his evil plan, people start seeing videos on their phones -- all over the country, towns are having mask bonfires!
Thanks for all the love, frens! now pls stay tuned for the finale, which you'll be able to read when the script is done.
St Francis de Sales, patron saint of writers everywhere: pray for me!
