One of the deaths today was a mother aged 38. She died at home just a day after getting her COVID test.

78% of new cases are in the hotspot LGAS. October is going to be the worst month for your hospitals. The stress test has started. ICU’s are coping for now.

The total daily cases has had a big drop compared to previous days as you legends chase zero but there’s a warning that the ‘tail end’ could go on for a while.

Roughly 1.7m people are still in Auckland lockdown town.

QUEENIES

Is it too late now to say sorry?
Well! The Premier has.
She’s apologised for letting NRL players in - saying it wasn’t the right thing to do when the hotel quarantine bin was shut.

More rooms will be available from Monday which is great for queenies!!

Also the drive by from the truckies seems to be low risk.. the health people don’t think there’s virus in the community.

From Sunday midnight any truckies from Vic heading to WA will face increased testing and if anyone wants an exemption - you better have a jab.

After Aussies RIGHTFULLY got mouthy on social media - the PM has come to the party and announced that our Paralympic athletes- who win medals at Tokyo and all following games - will be paid 20k for gold, 15k for silver and 10k for bronze as Olympic athletes are. YAY!!
