1/ A while back Bristol prof David Miller was called out by @amhitchens @hurryupharry & others for promoting racist pseudoscientist Kevin MacDonald on his Spinwatch site… theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

2/ He apologised and said he’d “tighten the editorial process governing the posting of material”. End of story? Except MacDonald wasn’t the only antisemitic conspiracy theorist shared on these sites…

3/ Miller’s Powerbase site, a project of his organisation Public Interest Investigations, has a page on “Neoconservatives”, described as a Jewish movement. The page recommends a booked called Transparent Cabal by one Stephen J. Sniegoski…

4/ The book has an intro by Paul Gottfried, godfather of the alt-right and the cultural Marxism conspiracy myth. (I tweeted about him when @libcomorg spotted his book on Michael Gove’s bookshelf.)

8/ Sniegorski is well networked in the European and US far right. He’s published in several Holocaust denial outlets, such as The Revisionist, Occidental Quarterly, and Unz Review, and appeared on far right radio shows from the Republic Broadcasting Network.

9/ Sniegoski has also featured on the David Duke website and the Stormfront-affiliated Political Cesspool show…

10/ In short, recommending The Transparent Cabal is no less worrying than promoting Kevin MacDonald. Yet, despite Miller’s commitment to tightening up editorial processes, it’s still there.
