10 Things You Won’t Regret Doing When You’re Old

You might need to be reminded of no. 6
1. Time

This is the most valuable commodity you’ll ever own

Don’t sell, waste or not appreciate it

If something you spend time on isn’t adding value to your life then drop it
2. Money

Money isn’t everything but it’ll help you solve a lot of things

Use it to bat away the nuisance things in life so you can focus on what’s important

Learn not to link money to your happiness in any way
3. Health

It’s only when you get older that the habits of your younger self are realised

Treat your body with the care it deserves

Eat in moderation

Exercise daily

Manage stresses

Sleep well

Stretch

Relaxed breathwork
4. Investing

The benefits of compounding are actualised in your 70s

The great companies you invested in all those years ago are now paying big dividends

You are able to show your grandchildren how it all works
5. Wisdom

Skills you patiently worked on during your life will now develop to wisdom

If you neglected the path of constant self improvement then you may not achieve this
6. Laughter

Laughing your way through life will keep your spirits youthful and happy

People can get more serious and intense as they get older

Remember you’re here for a short time you have to enjoy it
7. Learning

Picking up the ability to be curious and interested about things early in life is brilliant

As you get older, being able to stay engaged and want to keep improving is driven by your appetite for learning

Always be working on new skills that add value to society
8. Travel

Travel opens your mind

Visit places where people have less than you but are very happy

Experience different cultures to give you new perspectives

Talk to locals and hear great stories
9. Journal

Document your life as you go through it

It will help you find new insights, reflect on old learnings and help with your writing and storytelling
10. Positive Mindset

This will help you overcome most barriers in life

Whatever the situation look for the good in it

Setbacks will fade into insignificance quickly if you maintain a positive mindset through life
