A couple of days ago, I told one of my students,

"Help me grow my Instagram page"

The student said, "I can't because we have similar themes in our account and I would lose sales"

It crushed my heart.

I had been giving this person free consult calls for nearly a year.
My student built a super business using my advice.

And even gained some followers on Twitter because of my retweets.

It's amazing how self-interest and money supersede friendship.
It's not that I expected this person to help me.

It's the reason why.

Basically, "a couple of bucks comes before you, Jose" lolololol

Despite the fact, I had shared this person's work on my timeline and my emails.
I explained to this person how I felt instead of doing what most people would do, which is to cut others out.

The person understood.

Said sorry.

And everything is ok.
As men, we're thought not to show emotions.

I, on the other hand, told the person exactly how I felt.

I said, "You know. I'm actually sad to hear this."

The person understood my position.

And everything is fine between use now.
Whenever someone goes out of their way to help you, do the same for them when they really need your help.

That's the rule for having a good, lasting friendship.

Now, it goes without saying that some things can't be done ("help me hide this body, man").

5 Brutal Truths About Digital Products:
# 1. Nobody cares about the quality of the videos

What's actually important is the quality of the information and audio.

The best courses I've purchased are lacking in the animation and design departments.
However, they excelled in delivering on the promise they made and their audio quality is pristine.

When it comes down to it, solving a problem is what will get you the sale in the end.

Let's say you want to post your ideas online.

Start by posting 200-500 words every day.

She was pregnant with our second son.

Imagine her shock.

While I’m not the ultimate business person in the world, I hope these 6 steps I’m about to tell inspire you to take action.

Onward!
Step 1: Learn A Skill

I studied graphic design at college.

I soon realized companies in the Dominican Republic didn't pay designers well.

So learned web design and web development, which paid more back then and still does.

Started with HTML and CSS.

Always read the comments section.

The anecdotes give you insights into people's problems, needs, what they believe, what they want, their stories, dreams, hindrances, worries, and mental barriers.

You’ll also find specific questions you’ve never thought of, and much more.
Check this out.

Let's say someone wrote this:

“Writing content that sells costs time and a lot of money.”

Ask yourself, what technical problems do these people have?

From it, I can extract two problems:
Problem #1: Writing content that sells is expensive (lack of money).

Problem #2: Writing content that sells takes time (lack of time, time-consuming, takes too long).

And how you can use them to get your first sale

\thread
1. Stop pressuring yourself

Everything will turn out fine.

The worst thing that can happen is not making a lot of money.

No matter what, you can always repurpose the content in your digital product for other projects.
2. "Build it and they'll come" is fake news

Your best product will be a flop if your marketing sucks.

How you promote your digital product is as important as the product itself.

Talk about your product. A lot.

Show the world you have you can solve some of their problems.

6 toxic writing habits that make you hate writing

And how to fix them

\thread
Writing can be messy.

And some habits make it even messier.

These habits:
• silently kill your motivation
• distract you from your goals
• make writing painful

Break free of these 6 toxic habits to enjoy your writing routine.
1. Editing while writing

Never edit while you're writing.

Follow this rule:
Write with your heart, edit with your mind.

While writing the first draft,
• Ignore the typos
• Forget about the syntax
• Keep the nonsensical ideas

Complete the crappy first draft.

Then edit it.
