We always said that the Oval #LTN would transform our neighbourhood for the better.

And now the data bears that out....

Traffic within the LTN & on boundary roads ⬇️ 8%

Traffic within the LTN ⬇️ 25%

Traffic on boundary roads ⬇️ 2%

On individual roads within the triangle the drop in motorised traffic looks like this:

Dorset Road ⬇️ 35%
Fentiman Road ⬇️ 46%
Albert Square ⬇️ 95%
Claylands Road ⬇️ 78%
Aldebert Terrace ⬇️ 5%

And on the boundary roads the change in volumes of all motorised vehicles breaks down as follows:

Clapham Road (A3) ⬇️ 7%
Harleyford Road (A202) ⬇️ 1%
South Lambeth Road (A203) ⬆️ 3%

A overall increase in cycling of ⬆️ 87%

Dorset Road along Quietway 5 ⬆️ 310%
Fentiman Road ⬆️ 91%
Claylands Road ⬆️ 63%

If you were wondering who is being fined for driving through the #LTN's filters, it's not people who live here.

In fact, it's not people from elsewhere in Lambeth either.....

"Air quality was modelled specifically at the 9 care home and school locations within and on the boundary of the LTN.

"None of these sites, including those on boundary roads, were modelled as having worse air quality than before the LTN was introduced."

And @LondonFire is reporting faster response times both inside the #LTN and on our boundary roads
